Excellent food. Fast, hot and delicious. Had the coconut shrimp curry. Not spicy but incredibly flavourful. Also has the grilled lobster done perfectly. You order at a window and eat outside on the picnic tables. Not licensed but the corner supermarket has a good selection...of drinks that you can bring in.More

Small seating area but big on flavor. Chicken kabobs were tasty. Key lime pie was delicious. Off the beaten path but worth the search.

Located on a quiet side street off Caye Caulker’s bustling main drag , Chef Juan’s Kitchen is the picture of simplicity. It’s the sort of place you might walk past with little notice if you had not been told about it. Having said that, if...you walked past without going in to eat…Well, that’s your loss. Chef Juan’s family is delightful, and you will meet them when you walk up a few wooden steps to a window to place your order. The menu is written on a board at the bottom of the steps. After ordering, sit at one of the handful of picnic table outside the kitchen and wait for the magic to arrive in about 15 minutes. I opted for stew chicken (my “go to” in Belize), served with rice and beans and potato salad. My wife opted for coconut curry chicken with the same sides. Both were exceptional. We finished of with a piece of their famous home made key lime pie. I’ll just say it is famous for good reason. If you are visiting Caye Caulker…find your way to Chef Juan’s. Your mouth will be glad you did.More

The tables at this small place are usually full at dinner for good reason. The food takes a while to make but it is worth it. We had two of the curries (seafood and veggie) and the servings were ample and the food well spiced....We also had the key lime pie (delicious) and the carrot cake (more like a spice cake--not enough carrot). The watermelon juice is great and I love that this is a family owned and run place and that they make their own desserts as well as main dishes.More

When in the mood for eggs and french toast, we came here. Delicious and nice portion sizes. You eat on picnic tables - hopefully one in the shade. A nice bathroom.

I had the Shrimp Curry and while it was pretty tasty, it was a little sparse on the shrimp . Very pleasant staff, tho wasn't wild about having to collect my own food even tho there were few customers

You go up to the counter to order your food. We loved the flavorful eggs, delicious French toast, watermelon juice. Clean bathroom. A small place with picnic tables.

Great lobster and the Key Lime Pie was amazing (I usually hate anything with Lime) . We ate here multiple times and loved every single meal. The Jerk Shrimp looked great too however we didn't get a chance to try as we loaded up on...Giant lobster.More

We went here tonight on a couple of recommends and have to say it was a bit underwhelming. The pulled pork was pretty good but the chicken curry was really average - also it doesn’t sell beer which kinda sucks Not bad just not great...but maybe I ordered badly but I was really looking forward TJ good curry RobMore

Had a fabulous dinner and went back the next morning for a beautiful breakfast. After a week of trying a ton of different restaurants, Chef Juan's is definitely our favorite. Varied menu, great service, quiet ambiance. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious!

Juan’s offers simple delicious fare. We had fried fish fillet, pulled pork and a salad, which came to $60 BZD. Food arrived quickly, was hot and pleasantly presented. Unfortunately, they were solid out of key lime pie. Definitely is worth a visit while on the...island.More

Skipped all the Beachside bars for a trip down a side alley to the best little restaurant in town! We had two giant lobsters for $60 Belize each and the best Keylime pie on the island. Super this family with your business

Cash only but there is a bank nearby with an ATM no problems with money here. I found it more hospitable than Costa Rica,
