Fantastic handmade pasta - simply heavenly. Personalised service by Armando catering also for vegetarians. We were a family of eight - all vegetarians - enjoying dinner there twice since the food was so delicious. Reservation is highly recommended as there are limited seats per seating (5.30pm / 7pm / 8.30pm).

Oh my stars! Pasta Per Caso was recommended to us by other travelers, making sure we knew reservations were pretty necessary. When I called the restaurant, Armando answered and because we were just a party of two told us to come on ahead! There was a steady flow of people cruising by making reservations with him, and you could see the care and love he has in what he does. You're in HIS cucina, and he wants everyone to enjoy and share...hence the long family style tables. We ordered 2 dishes, one rigatoni dish with a fresh tomato sauce and fresh basil, and the other was a beef ragu dish with a white wine reduction. SO DELICIOUS that my husband and I ate off each other's plates! Highly recommend that you do not skip the most authentic italian dining experience on the island. We will certainly be back. (Sidenote: Ask Armando where you can catch him playing music...We caught up with him on a Thursday night and enjoyed his talent on the bass guitar!)

we split a mixed salad and a meat pasta. both were very tasty but not as filling as i would have liked. the special chocolate salami dessert was also great. $69 bzd+ tip. after a week here we decided to splurge on a $$-$$$ rather than the $cheap eats $38bzd. armando was very personable and caye caulker is fortunate to have a great italian flavor to the mostly same old same old caribbean fare. see you next year!

I would have eaten here every night during my brief stay on Caye Caulker. The pastas are creative and delicious and well-made. Service is thoughtful, with only three seatings per night - you're never rushed to finish and have plenty of time to enjoy a drink and dessert. I would skip the appetizers (salad is fine and parm plate is really only worth it if you're a long time out away) but be sure to get one of each of the pastas (vegetarian and non-vegetarian) to be able to try the full complement. Every dessert was excellent. It is pricey, particularly if you're on the backpacker trail, but worth the splurge.

This is a genuine Italian restaurant ran by an Italian couple, who make their own fresh pasta. They do 3 sittings for dinner, 5.30-7.00-8.30, and I’d definitely recommend booking in advance, especially if you’re a big group, as it’s very popular and only seats around 24 people. The system they have is very efficient, and food comes quickly. There are two choices for pasta, meat or vegetarian. We chose one of each, both were delicious and a good size. They also serve a great panna cotta for dessert! This restaurant is slightly more formal than others on the island and is great for a romantic dinner or if you want to dress up a little more. Also, it’s more of a communal dining atmosphere rather than individual tables, so great for meeting people!

Wonderful experience. Everything about the meal was great, owners and server were friendly and attentive. They were extremely accommodating to food restrictions and food allergies even with only two dishes on the menu. We did talk to them in advance to see which day was the best to come in and made reservations accordingly. Save some room for the panna cotta, perfect texture and extra tasty without the sauce.

Word of mouth brought us to this restaurant Often word of mouth is the best advertisement. So glad we listened. The live music, great conversation with other guest and the fantastic homemade pasta dishes were out of this world. Reservations are strong recommended as the location with outdoor seating is small.

Anna is the cook and Armando the host. Together they make a great team and offer amazing pasta dishes on this tiny island. We loved our meat and vegetarian options, and they also made a special, simpler, pasta dish for our daughter at no charge! Truly charming place with a cozy atmosphere and good food.

Armando welcomed us to Pasta per Caso and we were so happy with the delicious homemade pasta and fresh sauces. We each got one of the two daily pasta selections and split them, which was the host's suggestion. It was so good and the perfect place to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday!

Fabulous! We couldn’t imagine wanting Italian food while on Caye Caulker, but this place is so delicious that we ate here twice! Restaurant offers two different pastas each night, one vegetarian and one meat, and you can’t go wrong with either. Lovely setting. Delicious desserts, including a chocolate and almond salami and panna cotta. The husband-and-wife team of Armando (host) and Anna (chef) make you feel like a guest in their home. Not to be missed!

This was an amazing meal! The salad was the freshest lettuce that I have had on the island. It was tossed in a light vinaigrette that was so flavorful. There are pasta specials each night.... one option is always vegetarian. They bring you bread with an artichoke dipping sauce at the beginning of the meal. It was amazing! This is a must when you are ready for something besides seafood or rice and beans! Ha.

We were looking at the menu outside debating whether or not to dine here when Armando came out to greet us. He was so friendly and charismatic that once he explained his meat dish of the day was lamb ragu over handmade spaghetti and the vegetarian dish was cream of asparagus pasta we immediately decided to stay. We had a late lunch and therefore were not very hungry so my husband ordered a the mixed salad and I ordered the lamb ragu planning to share both. After one bite of my lamb ragu, I definitely did not want to share! We have been to Italy and this surpassed many of the meals we ate there. Do not doubt the authenticity of his dishes as Armando is from Verona. Also, the ginger iced tea was exceptionally good. I am salivating as I recall our dinner! We walked by the next day while Armando was unloading supplies and he recognized us and even remembered by husband’s name! Unfortunately we were only at Caye Caulker for a few days as we really wanted to dine here again. Please note this restaurant is closed on Thursdays and Fridays so take the opportunity to dine here any and every time you can!! Thanks again Armando :)

This place seated people using long tables which was great fun because it helps you meet other vacationers. The waitress explained the sauce's ingredients and we ordered one of each because they sounded so yummy. We were not disappointed. Our stomachs cheered.

If you come to Belize, you absolutely must eat here! This is a hidden gem on Caye Caulker. Living here in Belize for over a year now, I have had the pleasure of going several times and it is always consistently the most delicious food I have experienced in Belize. Anna and Armando are the owners and they are the most incredible dynamic duo. Together, with their team serve up mouth watering food made with love and impeccable service every time. They have a select menu, where the pasta changes frequently. They also have a USD beef tenderloin on the menu that is delish and if you love beef tartare like me, pre order it when you make your reservation. The place is intimate and super popular so make sure you call ahead. Be prepared to eat the best pasta you have ever had (made fresh daily by hand) The whole experience from the moment you sit to the moment you leave is perfecto!

This restaurant was one of the biggest highlights of our whole trip. My family and I stayed on Caye Caulker for two weeks and went to nearly every restaurant on the island. This one absolutely blew us away! Anna and Armando are such fantastic hosts and you can just tell how much love they have put into everything from the handmade pasta to the warm atmosphere. For dinner, we had a fresh salad with olive oil dressing, sliced gourmet cheese, an eggplant-base red sauce pasta seasoned to perfection (Armando told us it was a recipe from his childhood), and a glorious panna cotta with chocolate and amaretto for dessert. Everything was unapologetically to die for. Even the wine selection was divine (ask Armando for suggestions, the pairings he pointed out to us were perfect). If I ever go back to Caye Caulker, this is the first place I'm coming.
