There are only a few tables by the water. The vibe is very chill, we enjoy the sunset drinks and dinner. We had grill whole fish but in my opinion, there is too much jerk sauce and it’s over cooked. But definitely come for a...drink at the sunset timeMore

Laid-back, wonderful water-side spot, and immaculate vibes from the staff - I only vaunt Brent’s name but everyone we interacted with was super friendly and inviting. We went two nights in a row (so far) because we were such fans. Food can take a little...longer to come out so don’t go if you’re in a rush, but we felt like thw chill slow vibe was a benefit! The whole spot embodies the island vibe. Enjoy the view, the company, a cold drink and wonderful home made dish. “Go slow” is a phrase you see all over the island after all! That being said, Brent expressed his appreciation for our patience but we were totally unphased because it was so worth the wait. I had a wonderful vegetarian veggie/coconut rice/curry dish and my partner loved the jerk chicken!More

Such a wonderful hidden gem! We ate here for dinner and the place was packed so we knew we had come to the right place. Food was so good and the staff was super friendly. One of our favorite meals in Caye Caulker.

We were out on a search for dinner. The setting Sun brought us to the west wide of Caye Caulker, and an opening to the water combined with a pretty deep pothole made us stop. We started chatting with one of the servers and decided...to stay for dinner. Husband had pork ribs (half BBQ half jerk) and I had the coconut curry shrimp. Great service, wonderful food, and amazing views! Come find this fantastic place in the west side of the island south of the Split and north of the tarpon feeding!More

Well this is picnic tables besided water, it is not fast food. Meals are made from scratch while you hang out. Food was amazing. Everything was fantastic and the owner was so friendly and genuine.

We absolutely loved this restaurant, the owner is so so nice and the food is incredible. We ordered ribs and snapper one night and honestly it was the best food we have had all holiday, flavours and sauces are incredible. There is such a gorgeous...vibe at the restaurant, it is the perfect place to watch the sunset. Not to mention beautiful dog Diesel to keep you company! The second time we came to the restaurant we brought fish we caught which the owner cooked for us. Such an incredible experience I could t recommend this place enough.More

Have Brent, Nino, Dee and family cook your dinner on a grill near you. The food, company and prices are wonderful. Support a local HARD working family and their wonderful small restaurant. We consider ourselves pals now!

Husband had a whole grilled snapper and I had jerk chicken. Literally watched the fish get cleaned and grilled. Best beans and rice on the island.

If you're at The Split, run over here for dinner. Seating is a pile of picnic tables right off the water near some mangroves. Incredibly friendly service. I had the snapper that was fine on the grill near us. Some garlic butter, jerk seasoning and...barbecue sauce made this tender fish the best I had on Caye Caulker. My wife liked her shrimp, but wasn't as ecstatic as me. Coconut rice and plantains were also tasty. Also came with Cole slaw. Drinks were good, too. We would return! Cash only. Great sunset view when we visited. Go here.More

We discovered this place by chance: passing in front we could smell an incredible fish scent and we gave it a try...the following day we came back again! The place is right on the water and with a very chill, simple setting. The prices are...very low, compared to the quality of food we had the plasure to eat. We got the curry shrimps (amazing), the grilled lobster (cooked to perfection) and the snapper. And since we got there around sunset, there was an happy hour offer (2 for 1 on selected drinks) It's a small business and everyone there was friendly and welcoming.More

Dee N D’s is located on the side of the island that lends itself to excellent sunsets. The seating is outdoors although there is an indoors option if needed. We had pork ribs and jerk chicken and both were delicious. Rum punch was also great....Service was friendly. Would recommendMore

I can’t say enough good things about this place, and honestly I think it’s the best meal I’ve ever had. It’s a local spot right on the water, and I’d recommend going around sunset time. I got the grilled lobster and it was cooked to...perfection. The prices are also super reasonable and they have a happy hour 2 for 1 drink special. You’ll leave happy and full. Also shout out to Brent who was so friendly and just an incredible chef. I will be dreaming about this place for awhile!More

We just arrived on the island and we’re looking for food. He had already that friendly, charming vibe which caught us. After that he told us everything about the menus and drinks. And that view in the evening is just beautiful ! We tried several...restaurants but his place is for me the best place to get dinner and to spend the last hours of the day. We had a vegetarian dish and the white snapper. I just left the head of it cause it was so amazing !(:More

We really enjoyed this little hidden gem. It looks a little sketchy but the man outside coaxed us in and we checked out the menu. My boyfriend was skeptical but I really wanted to give it a shot and he reluctantly agreed. Afterward he said,...I really should stop doubting you! This place was awesome!! And so much cheaper than the more touristy areas. They cooked our food right there on the grill next to us and we watched the sun go down. It was perfection! The only thing I can say we could complain about was the flies. But there is nothing they can do about that. Give it a shot! Go at sunset!More

Yes! It is a 5% additional charge and you have to walk with one of the staff around the the convenient store on the opposite side of the block. Takes a little bit of time, but it was easy enough.
