Very tasty dinner. Barracuda fillet was excellent - chose coconut sweet mashed and coconut rice as sides, both were tasty. Hubby had stone crab claws and red snapper - also an excellent dish. Seafood was very fresh!! So we’re the veggies.
Steve - the chef and server was great.
Seating area is small/tight. During busy times would recommend reservations.
If using a credit card, the store next store charges 5% to use his machine.

Steve's was great. My family spent the day on the water with Three Seas Tours, and we caught some great fish. When we got back to the island Three Seas cleaned the fish and brought them to Steve who cooked them up expertly for just a few dollars! We also ordered lobster, chicken, rice, veggies and mashed potatoes. It was one of the best meals we had on Caye Caulker!!

Steve has a simple and solid operation going. Grilling down on the street by him, all other food prep by staff on the main level. Not many tables but got one on a Sunday night. They don't have drinks on their menu but Steve/staff will get bottled beer and what not from the Chinese market they are sort of embedded in and just add the cost to your bill at the end.
While it took a really long, long time to get our food (I had the coconut curry fish w/two sides-rice and zucchini-I guess he had to grill the fish first and then have staff plate it w/the curry sauce) the pay off was huge-as in the platter was massive and the curry sauce up to snuff. Super tasty and filling.
Definitely the local type of flavor and experience to try out on funky Caye Caulker.

The food at Steve’s grill is amazing and the location is good because you can do people watching from the balcony. We did feel the portions were very small, meaning it would be recommendable to have a starter somewhere else. The quality of the food was excellent though and we were very happy we decided to spend our last evening on Caye Caulker at Steve’s grill.

Firstly we had to wait 45 minutes before we got a table, even tho every 10 minutes they told us the table would be ready within a few minutes. We ordered some lobster tails, but it was served almost cold (the dish was probably already ready while we had to wait for a table). When we told the waiter that the food was cold, he told us that that wasnt possible because it came just from the grill (according to him) and he walked away. One lobstertail wasnt prepared good and the other was eatable, but not worth the money. When we told him for the second time the food was not good, he blamed us for not letting him know and not asking him to put it back on the grill.... He also showed almost no understanding

We ate here three times for dinner! Steve has the biggest and best lobsters in Caye Caulker - he grills them to perfection every time. He's the friendly guy who grills lobster and fish right on the street corner - you can't miss him. Highly recommend Steve's Grill and can't wait to go back!!

Steve's grill is in a great location with even better food! My fish was freshly caught and grilled with the perfect spices. The bbq/jerk chicken was also delicious. Steve's has unique side dishes not offered at other restaurants on the island, such as mashed sweet potatoes and grilled zucchini. Steve is very personable and getting to talk with him as he grilled our food made the dining experience even better!

We ate here twice during our few days on the island—it was worth going back again.
Steve was so kind, described exactly how he would prepare the food, and it was just as delicious as he described.
We will definitely be back next time we visit the island.

This was my favorite restaurant on the Caye. You walk up the stairs and sit outside overlooking the street. The grill is on the street and Steve is going up and down cooking, with his assistant, and then he brings the food up to you. They offer all kinds of beverages because they run to the market next door, buy what you ordered and bring it back to your table. Steve runs everything. His lobster was to die for and I loved every minute of my meal there.

We ate at Steve’s on our last night on Caye Caulker and they didn’t disappoint. Great food with authentic Belizean flavors, and the staff is so friendly, they made it easy to have a nice easy going experience. Great people watching too! Wish we’d found it sooner!

Steve's Grill offers a large selection of delicious items, in what is (for now) a small space. My travel partner and I ate the best meal of our trip at Steve's Grill: lobster stuffed with snapper; jerk chicken; and four tasty sides: mashed sweet potatoes, grilled zucchini, coconut rice, and green beans. Even compared to other local restaurants, Steve's Grill is a bargain. The bill came to $80 BZ (about $40 US) for all that expertly prepared food, plus three drinks.

One of the best lobsters we’ve eaten. Tiny little place with Steve BBQing on the street. Perfect and tasty lobster, grilled zucchini and complimentary rum punch made for a delicious dinner. Definitely stop and have a meal here. You will not be disappointed and the prices are excellent. Thankyou Steve!!!

5 stars!!!!! This place was by far my favorite place I went while I was visiting the island. Steve grills right next to the restaurant. Service and staff was great! My boyfriend got the curry chicken and I got the seafood platter! I have to mention that they had STONECRAB! I live in Miami where it’s only seasonal so it was a nice surprise that I could get it while I was here since it’s out of season in miami. It was also served grilled which I normally eat cold… the flavors did not disappoint! Portions are generous and everything had great flavor! There’s only a couple tables so try to go right when they open! Do not skip this place!!

Steve's was our favorite restaurant in Caye Caulker. My wife had the Shrimp Kabob and Mashed Potatoes w/Coconut and grilled Zucchini and loved it. I had the Vegetable Kabob, the Pork Ribs, coleslaw and Sweet Coconut Mashed Potatoes. Everything was delicious. They have a very limited drink selection so bring your own beer. I would also recommend taking wet naps to any restaurant you visit in Caye Caulker. We waited 30 minutes for our dinner but by Belize standards, this is quick. Seating is limited (6-7 tables) and is cramped. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We ordered the jerk bbq chicken and lobster both with sides of rice n beans and green beans. The chicken came cold and dry. The lobster came half an hour later. We were told on arrival of our food that none of the sides that we ordered were available. All beers ordered were obtained from the supermarket next door and sold to us at 3 times the price. Up your game Steven. Disappointed.
