Street bbq. The bbq chicken and whole fish were fantastic. Excellent value too. I was craving it every time I walked past Kareem.

We took a water taxi from San Pedro to Caye Caulker for the day to check out the island so stopped here for lunch because it smelled so good. It did not disappoint! Delicious and for the right price. There are adirondack chairs to kick...back on and sit oceanside to enjoy your meal. Can't get better than that!More

We were recommended Chef Kareem's grilled lobster by two of our guides in San Ignacio who frequent San Pedro/Caye Caulker, so we knew we had to try it when we were in Caye Caulker! We did not meet Kareem, but we did meet Pepe, who...was so friendly and nice. He took our orders and we sat in the adirondack chairs overlooking the water with our beers while he fulfilled our orders. We each ordered grilled lobster dinners and they were absolutely fabulous! Pepe delivered our food to us and we all savored every bit of that lobster. My only complaint is that we wanted more because it was so good! The garlic butter sauce they drizzle over it once it's cooked is beyond good. We knew how fresh it was, too, because we saw Kareem pull the fresh lobsters out and prepare them on the dock. If you are on Caye Caulker, you have to go here at least once. I still miss it!More

This place was awesome! SUPER busy when we arrived and ordered, so a bit chaotic, but worth it. The food was killer and eating BBQ on the beach is what it's all about. Jerk chicken and shrimp kabobs. Just do it.

The smell of Chef Kareem’s really draws you in. Open flame barbecue, seafood, chicken, creole spices, the smell is mouthwatering. I ordered jerk chicken bbq which came with rice & beans and coleslaw for $9USD. Honestly, it wasn’t that great. The spice was on point,...but the chicken was cooked a little too long rendering it pretty dry. The rice & beans was uneventful, not a lot of flavor and also pretty dry. With so much great food on the island, not sure I’d try this again.More

Visited this Caye Caulker landmark from the recommendation from a cab driver in Belize City and was not disappointed. The Chef, Kareem was standing in front of his cooker in shorts, a t-shirt and bare feet surrounded by the awesome smoky aromas of BBQing meats...and seafoods. I opted for the whole red snapper. It was served with rice, coleslaw and green salad. from the time I placed the order to the time I had it in my hand was 11 minutes. The sides were very passable but the fish. Oh my, the skin was crisped without being burnt. The flesh was moist and juicy, cooked to perfection. The seasoning used and picked up from the grill was delicious. By far the best fish meal that I have eaten that was cooked by someone else. $20 Belizean or $10 US.More

We came by at 11:30 and Chef Kareem told us they weren't open yet. When we came back at 11:50 he told us to sit down and about 20 minutes later we got our shimp and lobster lunches (with rice/beans, a tiny forgettable salad of...iceberg, and a tiny bit of coleslaw. The shrimp were plump and sweet and interspersed with pineapple, onion, and green bell pepper. The lobster was delicious as well. For the two dishes (two kebabs each) it cost us $30 US.More

The Best lobster and kabob on the island. Kareem and the guys are the nicest of people as well. It’s my Go-To place for lobster. Make sure and get a fresh coconut drink while you’re there..!

Highly rated street BBQ for good reason - it was the choice of the local Belizean crew of our excursion to Caye Caulker. We had shrimp kebab (excellent), lobster kebab (excellent), and bbq chicken (good). We also loved the rice and beans. Ordering and receipt...of food was a bit chaotic. Recommend staying close to get food in a timely fashion; we retired to the nearby beach, and think we may have lost our place in the queue. Coconut juice from the nearby coconut juice hustler was tasty and entertaining if slightly pricy.More

So good!!! Good menu selection, fresh fish and chicken. I had the lobster kabobs and they were to die for. The rest of my family had chicken and said it was good. Very good value and you literally eat right on the beach.

Do not remember.... small operation; even if they do - always a chance that network is down or another obstacle can occur to process your card. Small pot of cash always helpful.
