Stopped in for a couple of beers after our Eko Tour dolphin boat trip. It was 5.50pm and we were lucky that happy hour was on until 6pm. It cost $12 for two beers. Quick service even though there were several people at the bar....More

On holiday in Picton for 3 days, we stopped at this restaurant by hazard. The welcome is very friendly and warm. The meal was average but there was a great atmosphere with a singer guitarist. We were the only French among the kiwis and we...More

Tried the green lip mussels 19$ and a side of fries (from a freezer bag) 8. Broth was flavorless and somehow looked separated like a miso soup. We only went here because our two first choices were closed. What a dump.

This pub has friendly/helpful staff and I include the duty managers. The food was well presented on the two occasions I visited and enough to satisfy our hunger. Prices for the days special were acceptable as well - meal and drink NZ$20 as I recall....More

I had the Irish Stew and friend the Fried Fish. Neither meal was anything to write home about. Mine was $20 and Fish was $27. Wanted mussels as entree, but wouldn't provide as only a main.

A smallish pub with concertina windows to street. A not very inviting outdoor area @ the back. Friendly helpful staff, order @ the bar. Our group ordered T-bone steak, pork chop & Orange Roughy & we were all well satisfied. We would definitely visit again

This is an ok place to spend the evening, but it feels more like a pub that sells food than a restaurant. As long as you keep that in mind, it can be fun. Obviously a good selection of drinks, a decent menu, but although...More

Food was ok, but just like everything in NZ, expensive. It is right on the main drag, and was not crowded the night we went. The service was good, and the portions were ok. I had the green lipped mussels and hubs had a burger....More

All I can say is YUMM!!! I had the vegetarian nachos with extra sour cream and my husband had the lamb burger with chunky chips and aioli. He said the burger was moist and tasty. It had beetroot, rocket lettuce, onion, cheese and a mayo/sauce....More
