This winery, in the heart of Fremantle, is innovative and well done. The interior is spacious, airy, with high ceilings: it's where 'Mother' used to be, but totally renovated.
The menu is well balanced between meat, fish, and vegetarian, and the food is delicious.
Excellent wine list, reasonably priced, ±$10-$12 a glass for the winery's own, which are quite good.
It's a 'Please order at the bar'place, but the staff is efficient and friendly, the service rapid.
Definitely worth a try — we'll be going back!

The menu descriptions are appetising, but the results are imbalanced and a bit heavy: see photo descriptions.
This is an 'order at the bar' place, although the food is served at your table. One has to either pay multiple times, or run a tab, which they do efficiently, but they failed to charge me for a glass of wine, which I had to point out to them, in all honesty.

The venue is very nice and has good ambiance, but the food portions are small. I ordered a 'Market Fish' main course ($39), which was snapper. The size of the fish portion was about the same as a credit card. The sauces did not really suit the fish. My wife got a pork collar which was OK.

Open from noon until late 7 days a week, this is a great spot to eat when you're in Freo. Inventive concept and menu, it's got lots of good wines and food to choose from. Have a squiz at their website, and drop in to try, if it mets your fancy! :-)

We stumbled on this place by accident as we were walking around Fremantle and other restaurants in Fremantle were all full.
Luckily for us, the food here was excellent, the interior is delightfully green and the ambience nice. The service was excellent and the prices reasonable. We would come again.

Surprisingly good food and drinks where RAW used to hang out. I was surprised at how big the place is now - as it has been opened up and also how good quality the food and drinks were. Great spot for an informal group night out.

Fremantle’s best kept secret revealed
Friendly attentive staff, amazing food, relaxed vibe and local wine tasting.
We ordered most of the share plates and thoroughly enjoyed each one of them.
A great place for a casual catch up.
