Place is querky with mezzanine above. They offer some breakfast as well. Coffee is good but what puts me off is few things; it seems like all coffee shops with speciality coffee offers sweets from same supplier, (same sweets I saw in 2 coffee shops),...also coffe to buy is everywhere same as well, same suplier. But what put me off the most is that I saw waiter pouring used milk from the jar back to the tetrapack and back to the fridge. Better options in Budapest availableMore
We were very excited to visit the budpest baristas coffee after we read all the great comments. So it was a disappointment when we finally arrived and the waiter told us to wait 30min to get anything to eat. We decided to order a coffee...which we should't because i already saw that they are in a lot of stress this day and so was the presentation of the coffee (double espresso).. It looked like a black tea.
First i thought ok, they have a bad day, what can happen to anyone, so let it be, but what i didn't understand was that while we were sitting outside we saw 4 guys one after another in a 5min tact from WOLT (delivery service) pick up food. In my opinion guest from the restaurant should be served in the best way possible and if the company still has availability to deliver then offer this service as well. But only if you are ready for it. If you can't handle the restaurant/coffee guests then don't go any further.
Anyway I guess Budapest Baristas can do much better and following guests very probably wouldn't have that problem.More
Budapest Baristas is a small cafe about 200m northwest of the Hungarian National Museum. They offer specialty coffees, homemade desserts, cold-pressed fruit juices and breakfasts (American-style pancakes highly recommended). After touring the museum, I stopped in for a "pick me up" of lemonade (cold, tart...and refreshing) with a panini (melted cheese, lightly toasted). Service was friendly (some English spoken), the dining area was tidy, the restroom was clean and the WiFi signal was strong. Prices were a bit higher than other cafes in the area, but the food quality was high.More
The space of this little brunch restaurant can be challenging for tall people - everything's so cute and tiny! :D otherwise I strongly recommend this place, they have a short but very good menu, it is done with love :)
