Pure RiP-OFF!! Try to avoid this place. Yesterday I ordered a “Caesar” salad and a beef tenderloin salad together with a small coke and a Limonade. I paid over 18.000HUf, roughly over 50€. The “Caesar” consisted of iceberg salad(instead of romana lettuce), CUCUMBER (?!?!?!), and...tomato too. But the most hilarious was the fact that the waiter asked me if I want Parmesan on it or not ?!?! I was like…..nice one mate….shouldn’t it come with Parmesan ?!! The beef tenderloin on the other salat was just remaining off cuts of the loin. Not a nice meal at all. Not for these prices. In 5 stars Hotel in western countries I wouldn’t have asked to pay this price. It’s ridiculous. It’s just a place for new money poser individuals. Nothing elseMore

I WILL NOT CHOOSE THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN. After working late and too tired to cook, I chose this restaurant to order dinner for me and my kids through Wolt delivery, as the restaurant's waiting time was estimated 25-35 min.—faster than any other restaurant delivering at...7:30 in the evening. It's now 10:00 PM and our dinner, which didn't arrive before the kids went to bed, is now sitting in the fridge uneaten. The fault is partly Wolt's but started with Leroy Restaurant. Here's what the restaurant did poorly: I placed my order at 7:40 PM exactly, at which time the estimated wait time was 25-35 min. Sometimes it takes longer, I understand; but as soon as I clicked 'Order' and my card was charged, the estimated wait time on my confirmation jumped up to over 2 hours (estimated delivery time was now 9:35-9:50 PM). Clearly the kids would be in bed by then so I IMMEDIATELY initiated a help chat with Wolt and asked to cancel my order. Wolt contacted the restaurant and the restaurant REFUSED to cancel the order, despite it being less than 5 minutes since it was sent. Now, if the order is going to take 2 hours does that really mean they started cooking it less than 5 minutes after I started sent it? I would think not (in fact I know not, because when it did arrive eventually, it was hot and obviously hadn't been sitting around waiting to get delivered for over an hour). The restaurant was COMPLETELY INFLEXIBLE about cancelling this order within a totally reasonable amount of time. The customer support representative told me verbatim that the restaurant told him: "The order is already in production in the restaurant [LIE]. Cancellation is not possible, as that would cause damage to the restaurant/store. 😔" [presumably the support rep added the frowning emoji himself] Had the restaurant been at all reasonable, they would have cancelled an order they clearly had not started preparing at the time of my IMMEDIATE request. I can only assume they didn't want to cancel because they already had my money so it didn't matter whether it was a complete waste to me or not. I will not get into the over-an-hour-long debate that followed with Wolt customer support, who refused to give me credits toward another order or even update the estimated delivery time for this restaurant so that other customers wouldn't have the same problem I did. Wolt was also apparently unaware that there is, in fact, a process for making formal complaints (Googled it myself—there is). I will not be dining at or ordering from Leroy again, nor will I be using Wolt. (FWIW I have eaten at Leroy in-house before and the wait times are always terrible at the restaurant as well) TL;DR dinner order didn't come before bedtime; complete waste of €23 meal that we did not eat, we ended up eating soup from a packet instead.More
