Overrated for what it really is

In all sincerity, I did not particularly enjoy the dinner. The white wine was room temperature, therefore was not really enjoyable. The main courses sounded great on the menu, but the reality was quite disappointing. The chicken was undercooked, the rice seemed to have been cooked for a long time and just reheated, and the vegetable component wasn’t as present as described on the menu. The soufflé as dessert had a nice combination of flavors all around the actual pot of the soufflé, which was sadly dry and felt old. Overall, I didn’t have the experience that I was expecting coming into the restaurant. The menu is overpriced for the actual quality offered.

Fantastic selection of great breakfast meals. It is allowed to smoke on the terrace what is so uniqe in Budapest, so it is a perfect location to organize meetings.

MOM Park is a plaza in Buda, in an expensive and pretentious area of the city. Leroy Bistro has a pleasant enough environment, but the menu is rather overpriced for the simple fare offered. Service is OK.

This wasnt the first time we had lunch here with my family, it didnt disappoint again! We started with changing our table, we only had 1 choice when we arrived and later we spotted a better one, staff was really helpful with that. As a starter we always have the aubergine dip with veggies and pita bread, delicious! All our main meals were great,service was excellent. Its a beautiful restaurant, not cheap but most of the food and drink worth the price. I would recommend to talk to the staff if you have any issues as they are really helpful to make it right if something is wrong. Also some of the reviews complain about the service charge, its not their choice...this is how they have to do it in Hungary...

Just to charge my phone 📱 the server let me in despite the bistro wasn’t open yet and showed me to the plug charger. Told me I didn’t need to buy anything in order to charge my phone 🌈🌈🌈 single plug, not easy access but possible.

RIP-OFF pure

Pure RiP-OFF!! Try to avoid this place. Yesterday I ordered a “Caesar” salad and a beef tenderloin salad together with a small coke and a Limonade. I paid over 18.000HUf, roughly over 50€. The “Caesar” consisted of iceberg salad(instead of romana lettuce), CUCUMBER (?!?!?!), and tomato too. But the most hilarious was the fact that the waiter asked me if I want Parmesan on it or not ?!?! I was like…..nice one mate….shouldn’t it come with Parmesan ?!! The beef tenderloin on the other salat was just remaining off cuts of the loin. Not a nice meal at all. Not for these prices. In 5 stars Hotel in western countries I wouldn’t have asked to pay this price. It’s ridiculous. It’s just a place for new money poser individuals. Nothing else

Do not choose this restaurant if you enjoy eating the same night you ordered!

I WILL NOT CHOOSE THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN. After working late and too tired to cook, I chose this restaurant to order dinner for me and my kids through Wolt delivery, as the restaurant's waiting time was estimated 25-35 min.—faster than any other restaurant delivering at 7:30 in the evening. It's now 10:00 PM and our dinner, which didn't arrive before the kids went to bed, is now sitting in the fridge uneaten. The fault is partly Wolt's but started with Leroy Restaurant. Here's what the restaurant did poorly: I placed my order at 7:40 PM exactly, at which time the estimated wait time was 25-35 min. Sometimes it takes longer, I understand; but as soon as I clicked 'Order' and my card was charged, the estimated wait time on my confirmation jumped up to over 2 hours (estimated delivery time was now 9:35-9:50 PM). Clearly the kids would be in bed by then so I IMMEDIATELY initiated a help chat with Wolt and asked to cancel my order. Wolt contacted the restaurant and the restaurant REFUSED to cancel the order, despite it being less than 5 minutes since it was sent. Now, if the order is going to take 2 hours does that really mean they started cooking it less than 5 minutes after I started sent it? I would think not (in fact I know not, because when it did arrive eventually, it was hot and obviously hadn't been sitting around waiting to get delivered for over an hour). The restaurant was COMPLETELY INFLEXIBLE about cancelling this order within a totally reasonable amount of time. The customer support representative told me verbatim that the restaurant told him: "The order is already in production in the restaurant [LIE]. Cancellation is not possible, as that would cause damage to the restaurant/store. 😔" [presumably the support rep added the frowning emoji himself] Had the restaurant been at all reasonable, they would have cancelled an order they clearly had not started preparing at the time of my IMMEDIATE request. I can only assume they didn't want to cancel because they already had my money so it didn't matter whether it was a complete waste to me or not. I will not get into the over-an-hour-long debate that followed with Wolt customer support, who refused to give me credits toward another order or even update the estimated delivery time for this restaurant so that other customers wouldn't have the same problem I did. Wolt was also apparently unaware that there is, in fact, a process for making formal complaints (Googled it myself—there is). I will not be dining at or ordering from Leroy again, nor will I be using Wolt. (FWIW I have eaten at Leroy in-house before and the wait times are always terrible at the restaurant as well) TL;DR dinner order didn't come before bedtime; complete waste of €23 meal that we did not eat, we ended up eating soup from a packet instead.

I really enjoy the food. The taste was excellent but the portion is small. I ordered the duck with plum sauce and sweet potato pure and the picture says more than my words. I left the restaurant hungry.

Sajnálattal olvastuk, hogy nem minden téren sikerült teljesítenünk az elvárásait. Nagyon rosszul esik tudomásul venni, hogy kellemetlen tapasztalatai voltak az étel mennyiségével kapcsolatban. Utánajárunk ennek a dolognak. Mindent összegezve nagyon sajnáljuk, hogy nem sikerült 100%-osan teljesíteni a nálunk tett látogatásához fűzött reményeit. Pad Thai had heavy sauce and overall was tasteless. Ramen was made from water and soy sauce, really... and if it's not enough waiter spilled our wine. avoid!

This informal place has very good food and great service. I had an Italian pasta dish that was excellent. My companion had a vegetable stir fry that she liked. Prices are reasonable, but not cheap, except for the wine, which is relatively cheap.

Cool restaurant

I am visiting Mom Leroy quite frequently with friends and colleagues as well due to I am working close to it. I have to say the restaurant is excellent in every part of the day - nice offer of tasty breakfast; varied and plentiful lunch on acceptable price and excellent menu - best fresh sushi in town and perfect steaks! My partner has couple of food intolerance, but they always take care about us from this point also the stuff is really nice and helpful. And the evening programs are also fun here :)
