We walked into Folga without booking simply because it looked great from the outside and had a really nice looking menu. It’s basically a sharing menu and it is very very good. Tempura Tiger prawns followed by garlic mushrooms, patatas bravas and medium rare duck...breast were simply delicious. Also had our first Israeli red wine which was also very good. Service was excellent and staff very helpful. If you are in the Jewish quarter give it a go!More

We were with family for an evening drink. Very nice and professional service. The drinks and desserts are delicious. Even though the entire restaurant was full, we didn't have to wait long and the staff often approached us and asked if we needed anything else....in Israel it is very rare, so we are in a big positive shock. In addition, we would like to warmly greet the lady who served us in Hebrew. It's amazing! We are in Poland and we feel at home. Thank you!!! You deserve great appreciation.More

I was here with my husband during our stay in Krakow and we simply love it! I was really surprised with how amazing and delicious food in this restaurant was. I'm usually picky person when it comes to food but this mix of flavors was...simply amazing. For starters my husband and I took the same and we were really surprised by the taste, I can't imagine that mix of those things can give such a perfect taste. For the main dish I took medium rare beef and my husband had a duck, for side dish we took potatoes. Portions were good and food was delicious. I was full but I tasted a little bit of dessert and I'm happy I did. Profitorole was one of the best I have ever tasted. I would definitely come back here and I highly recommend it. Stuff were professional and kind, they suggested a really nice wine that compliment the food we had. The restaurant looked brand new and modern with nice atmosphere. We really enjoy it.More

This year I returned to Folga with my family to enjoy some new dishes on the menu. Among others, I had Bundz (a Polish sheep cheese) and root vegetables cooked al dente, a colorful and delicate vegetarian dish. Besides the food, this restaurant stands out...because of its friendly and competent personnel.More

Delicious and beautifully prepared. Service was spectacular and the good staff were very welcoming. From the ceviche, the prawns and Caesar salad all the way to the most delectable special chocolate sauce covered Polish dessert we simply could not have chosen a better restaurant in...the Stare Maisto area. Our waiter was knowledgeable and concerned with our level of satisfaction. Even the special Prosecco and mango cocktail was fabulous! Go here, you will not be disappointed.More

We had a very good meal with very good service. We shared the shrimp tempura & salmon carpaccio for starters - both excellent. The salmon was particularly good. For mains we shared the rigatoni, beef fillet, potatoes & asparagus. For dessert we shared the profiteroles...& the tarte tatin. We liked the food but nothing we had we felt was particularly Polish & we could get the same dishes in a high end London restaurant, although not for the price! For all the food & 3 beers & 3 Aperol Spritzes plus water & service was £140 (our most expensive dinner during our stay in Krakow). In London that meal would be £200. Would recommend but wouldn’t return.More

We had high hopes about this restaurant. It was our main night out. I did careful research before and Folga seemed nice. We did the tasting menu. Tartar and lamb shops were really tasty, all the flavours superb. Portions were too small though, we were...left hungry. We also had to wait too long between the courses and when it was time for dessert we felt that the staff has forgotten us. Perhaps problems in the kitchen but they could have informed us. I was really pissed off because of this, it's an expensive restaurant and they should be able to do better and offer some drinks or something because of the wait. The lightning at this restaurant is also really bad, spotlights straight to your face. They should take a closer look at this matter. The waitresses were ok, gave us little bags of sweets when we left, but they could have been more attentative because of the waiting.More
