We visited the restaurant after spending some time in the Jewish district. We sat in the lovely garden which was beautiful, with a lovely atmosphere. The location is lovely, surrounded by quirky bars. The restaurant had a lovely vibe with a calming atmosphere. The staff...were very friendly and we especially enjoyed our conversations with Gabriel who shared common interests in music and football as my fiancé ( although different teams!). This made the experience really enjoyable as it was nice to engage in conversation and to talk and compare our home countries and experiences. The home made vodka shots were amazing, and Gabriel provided extended flavours that were not yet on the menu, our favourites were the coconut, banana and pineapple! I had ruskie to start and duck for main followed by a brownie, my fiancé had the sausage starter, burger for main and a brownie, we really enjoyed the food it was beautiful. We highly recommend Starka for the lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and stunning food. We will be returning. Thank you, Dziękuję. Elly & Liam. 🏴 🇵🇱More
Thank you for the visit and your review! We are happy to read it! We hope you will visit us again!
Starka is an excellent place to go for a nice dinner. The atmosphere was lovely and also very cosy. The food was excellent and bordering on fine dining without the price. We were served by Ola who was super friendly and attentive, despite the restaurant...being fully booked. I’d recommend Starka to anyone visiting Krakow!More
We visit Kraków twice every year, and when we found Starka 2 years ago, we have been there every time. It is a nice and cosy restaurant, excellent food, drinks and service. And on top of that we have been lucky to be serviced by...Kinga, allways smiling and helpfull. Looking forward to see you again. Hulda and Christian Bladt Hansen, DenmarkMore
Cool ambiance (historical feel with old cartoons on the walls), great food (the pierogie and soup were very good), and delicious vodka (I recommend the strawberry).
We loved everything about this place. The pierogi entree were amazing, the mulled white wine, the duck mains was the best duck we’ve ever had and the salmon main was incredible. The apple crumble desert was delicious too The service was fantastic and efficient The...atmosphere is very cool, beautiful lighting, images on the wall and super cool music playing. Very well priced for such an amazing experience.More

Amazing cooking, really lovely atmosphere. Staff made us feel very welcome, food was tremendous. Izabela was a marvellous hostess really made us feel welcome.
We chose Starka Restaurant for celebrating the birthday and were really satisfied. I can say with confidence that this is the best restaurant in Krakow with extraordinary serving of dishes and unique service. The atmosphere of the restaurant will forever leave you with unforgettable emotions...and memories!!!❤️🫶🏻 #Top 1 restaurant to visit in Krakow👍🏼More
Visited 5 different restaurants offering Polish food menus whilst in Krakow. They were all very good but Starka was the best of the 5. It was our 29th wedding anniversary and we were greeted with a complimentary glass of bubbles. We shared a starter of...mixed pierogies which were very tastey followed by the beef and pork stew in a bread bowl and my wife had the duck. We ended with Walnut cake. The food was all seasoned well, served hot with a smile. Like most restaurant in Poland the bill won’t break the bank. Our bill inc tip was under £50. Great food, serving staff and decor. Would highly recommend Starka but book before you go as this place gets busy and I saw many people being turned away. Would definitely revisit if ever back in Krakow.More
Warm welcome as I walked into dining room and we were seated in a lovely corner 2 table. I made a reservation the day before via email. We ate early, around 5 PM on a Sunday. Anna lit our candle and welcomed us. She was...attentive. Found lovely resturant with a heart in Krakow. The food was made with love and simply outstanding. Pierogi and stew were great! Reminded me of home.More
This foodie’s gem is the best for about any time of the day. Food is on the top list, should be given michelin stars for real. The place is not big, may seem crowdy, but in a few moments you forget about that. The staff...is so nice, they treat you like their friends. And, again, the food is worth a try and repeat. I never thought that you can create something sooo tasteful from good, heathy ingredients. Had the pirogi mix ( after two days of tasting pirogies in the city, they still surprized me), the duck ( the best ever) and the cheese cake ( ten times yummy). So, very, very good job guys and special thanks and greetings to Kinga-our waitress, a beautiful, very friendly and well behaved girl that so reminded me of my daughter. We have the best time there. Absolutely loved it!More
