Our last night in Prague we wanted to eat close by the hotel, this was across the street. We wandered in off the street and were taken downstairs to this wonderful little restaurant with lots of celebrity pictures all over the walls. Excellent service and...More

Thoroughly enjoyed an evening of excellent Italian food, as good as some we've eaten in Rome. Service was very good with friendly staff. Try the house wine, both red and white were good. Prices are very reasonable.

Ate here with a friend late evening. Very quiet. Warm and cosy surroundings. Pasta cooked al dente and food tasted fresh. Pleasant friendly service. Doesn’t look much as a place from the outside but worth going in!

We came after a recommendation from our hotel. The place isn't located on the main streets so chances are that you won't be strolling in. Really nice atmosphere with happy Italian music, We had starters - really liked the bruschetta, the campresa and the Roman...More

We had an amazing dinner! The food was excellent and the service was impeccable. Although the reservation and menu selections were organised from the UK, it was all seamless. Everyone enjoyed themselves, the food and the wine. We had the Ossobuco con riso allo zafferano,...More

The ambiente is ok. Not bad nor spectecular. The handmade lasagne of excellente taste but very small. Too little for a main course. Minestrone soup ok. Big green salad with only few tomatoes. Tagiatelle with seafood fairly poor. Dry and hard. No white bread served....More

Title says it all. Very good, authentic Italian! Huge pizza, starters and pasta was superb. Very friendly staff. Do make reservations though, without it's a great risk

Cicala Trattoria - Back in 1997 a unique opportunity started to present itself in the centre of Prague - an opportunity to taste the real Italian cuisine flourishing under the baton of the culinary maestro Aldo Cicala. Today it has already been fifteen years since the restaurant opened for the first time and over these years it has won renown for its cosy family atmosphere, received numerous prestigious awards and welcomed many famous personalities. The restaurant owes its success first and foremost to its rich homemade Italian cuisine served with great attention to detail under the supervision of the talented chef David Cicala and to its emphasis on the quality of traditional ingredients. The restaurant also earned its high reputation thanks to the always friendly and accommodating staff who are also members of the Cicala family and create a genuine family atmosphere.
