delightful dishes with a great spread of flavours

There are several Indian Restaurants in this are (4) and by far we believe the Dhaba offers the best menu variety and with more than 50 years experience eating Indian, the Dhaba cuisine is very authentic. The wait staff are very efficient and polite. The Dhaba is a regular visit for us. Trev Dickinson

The front staff were excellent and looked after us all night. Food was also excellent and took the challenge on the meat fireballs (very hot ) !! Absolutely loved them alon with the Dhaba chicken. Well worth the visit and now it will be our go to Indian. Thank you for an enjoyable experience

A competitive area

There are quite a few Indian restaurants in this area so the competition is on. Comparing this to two previous Indian restaurants I have visited, this restaurant is very casual, the food is good but not over the top. The biryani rice, really nice and the Chicken Korma and the Vegetable Makhni was also very nice. So I guess you need to discover which part of India you’d like to visit in this area. I’m sure you’ll like them all 😋

Excessively spicy

We often eat spicy food both home made and from restaurants The dishes from the Dhaka we had on last night was over the top spicy which was very disappointing. I guess the Punjab will be our new favourite

Really really good experience

The food was excellent - and I usually set the bar quite high with Indian food :-) The service was great - friendly and efficient. Decor is clean and comfy and you can chat easily i.e. no loud music/background noise so you have to yell at each other! I'd suggest if you're looking for westernised (ie. bland, mild flavours) Indian then this place probably isn't for you. Prices are very reasonable. Definitely worth a visit or several :-) I don't have any connection with this place and am genuinely just an independent customer.

Always Good !!!

Whether it's take-away or dine in the service and food are great. Lots of Indian restaurants in this area but this is the best. Can recommend the Lamb Kadai and the Dhaba Chicken.

Visited Dhaba for the first time tonight. Excellent menu with great tasting food. The tandoori chicken is excellent and the hot curries are spicy without numbing your mouth. Superb garlic naan - one of the best I have had. The restaurant is in the Perth entertainment book and whilst no BYO, good choice of beers but shallow list of wines. Service was attentive ave not intrusive - excellent for a walk up with no booking. Great value pricing!

Nice food and service

We went fairly early so it was still quiet. The service was good and we enjoyed our curries and nan bread....all good quality. We took our own bottle of wine @ $5 corkage. Will probably go back one day.

We order here alot, and Dhaba never disappoints. No other restaurants compare to here. The sizes are always amble the taste and spices are top knotch. Will never go anywhere else.

Extremely delicious food

Three of us and a bottle of Rosé wine (Charles Melton Rose Of Virginia) went to Dhaba for dinner. Started with Onion Bhajia. It was so good and loved all spices in it. Ordered Dhaba chicken ( highly recommended) and Lamb roganjosh with Jeera rice (if you like cumin ask for this) Both dishes were sensational specially they perfectly matched with our rose wine. Atmosphere was good, staff was very polite and friendly. Quantity of food was enough for three of us. I highly recommend Dhaba for Indian food lovers.

With so much competition around this area (4-5 within 100 meters) you have to be good and this place is. The very friendly and helpful staff directed to one dish which I hadn't had before and it didn't disappoint along with the chicken wings both dishes fresh and full of flavour. Cold beers including one I had never heard of from Kenya and well priced I recommend and will be back.

Sensational food!

We have been here a couple of times now and every time we have received great food! Recently went with a group of friends – 12 ppl and everyone was impressed. The portions are generous and the menu covers a wide range of options vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. I always order Aloo Tikki, Lamb Fireballs, Lamb Chops, Nawabi Kofta Curry and Dhaba Chicken. These dishes are excellent from presentation to taste. I always order more – in fact all the dishes, so that I can get some takeaway for the next day. The Lamb fireballs are really hot and spicy. It just blows your mind… I love spicy food so it’s perfect for me. It’s not for the faint hearted, try only if you can eat spicy food. The Lamb Chops, Nawabi kofta Curry and Dhaba Chicken are just amazing and not the regular dishes that you would find in any Indian restaurant. Give it a try, if you want to taste and eat something different from the regular popular butter chicken and vindaloo dishes. This restaurant is lovely and the staff is always friendly. With 4 Indian restaurants in the same area there is certainly a lot of competition to give their best and it’s good for us – the foodies!! Honestly out of the 4 Indian restaurants there, Dhaba and Bollywood are the best Indian restaurants in Perth. Visited twice with family and once with a group of friends.

Great Food

Ordered take away. Friendly staff. Food was yummy. Butter chicken and chicken Korma were the faves. Rogan Josh was a little spicy. Onion bhaji were nice but a little dry. Overall flavoursome. A bit on the expensive side but got discount with the Entertainment card.

there is plenty of indian restaurant competition in the vicinity of Dhaba , so i was not surprised to be served an excellent meal at a reasonable price. the restaurant is clean ,bright and the staff are most helpful - there is plenty of choice on the menu and anything we were not familiar with , the staff guided us through so that our selection was first class -- well worth another visit
