We love staying here and delighted with the food, service and very comfortable bed! The staff are delightful and recognised us as having stayed before - always a feel good moment.

We ate in this pub on Friday night. The food was really tasty but sadly, this pub did not make me feel very safe. There was one man who was drinking all night who seemed to be able to come and go without a mask...- when challenged he put his hand over his mouth. We left at the same time and he drove home after drinking all night. There wasn't enough hand sanitizer and I didn't observe anyone using the gel. It's a nice pub not trying hard enough to honour the awful times we are living in.More

Second time in a month First time was eat out to help out everything was great apart from the silly woman complaint about 50p difference on the bill bit embarrassing for her husband Second visit tonight Friday fairly busy but all social distancing adhered to....Great atmosphere as alway Fabulous staff especially ‘Summer’ who was a ray of sunshine Beverly helpful and happy to serve Food was all good fish platter was enormous and very good I’m told the chicken wings were fab and burgers all good far to much food though;) Apart from the extra drinks in the tab that weren’t ours which I must say was sorted swiftly and professionally by the manager (partly Antons fault) we thank you all for serving and I hope we weren’t too loud :) 9/10 Would go again and again Food good ambience good Staff great Reasonably pricedMore

This is a truly delightful place to stay! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the food is excellent, the bar is welcoming and all the staff are friendly and lovely. We stayed 4 nights in the B&B rooms with breakfast and loved every moment. The...village is quiet and there is literally nothing else here really but it’s only about 15 mins from Norwich if you fancy something different. We will definitely be coming back with friends for a long weekend!!!!!More

Popped in here with a girlfriend for lunch on our way to Norwich. Haven't been here for many years and it was a shame we went in the back so you don't see how lovely the pub is. That didn't deter though we were greeted...and shown to our table all very clean and covid friendly if thats possible !! But they took extra care to make sure things were done properly with sachets of condiments including salt and pepper well done! Food was EXCELLENT as was the service.... great value for money. Well done.More

Very tasty food, good choice on the food menu, served quickly and politely. Fine range of local ales too. Plenty outside space on the grassy riverbank - idyllic. Large car park at the pub - but easy to miss from the road - even the...pub has little advertising on the roadside - but easy to find using a map.More

Lovely visit to our favourite restaurant last night after months of lockdown. Our welcome was warm, the food and service superb. Thank you all. You are all a great credit to a great Norfolk institution.
