This restaurant ticks all the boxes. We had a lovely evening, sitting outdoors, excellent staff and all the food was delicious, steaks cooked to perfection. Thankyou to all at Cafe Pituxa - you made our last evening in Portugal very special. Hope to return.

On a friends recommendation we went for dinner and was made to feel not just welcome, but really valued as diners. The food and service was 5 stars at a 3 star price. My wife had the pork tenderloin stuffed with plums and I had the beef stroganoff over rice. We split the marinated carrots and olives and a nice bottle of wine. We had the...almond mousse and profiteroles for desert. Port wine on the house to wrap up the meal was the icing on the cake. Very nice night out for adults. The quiet upscale ambiance may be more challenging for young children. The service was perfect including the wine recommendation to our taste.More

Have been here quite a few times, it is perfection! We are managing to get through the menu but last night was our favorite choice. Portuguese steak for me and lamb for my husband. Both meals were amazing as usual. The service is so good...with very attentive waiters who know how to treat their clients. Excellent wines and cocktails and last night as it was chilly the fire just made the evening cosy and warm. Beautiful dessert of Apple pie and caramel sauce which is so good but the special puddings last night looked incredible. A pistachio mousse and a lemon cake. I’ve been coming here for years, food and service always excellent. I usually have the fillet steak but there are plenty of good options on the menu.

We were a party of eight and received excellent service with a good range on the menu and delicious meals had by all. Really good service and would highly recommend.
