I have eaten at The Golden Mile many times since moving to the area 22 years ago. The food is always delicious and the staff are always respectful and helpful. Tonight was no exception. They are especially vigilant about spacing and following COVID guidelines particularly with cleaning. I felt the cost of the meal was reasonable.

Been here a few times and just gets better each time, food is great and the service is excellent… lovely staff who couldn’t do anymore to make this a good experience. The portion size is great and no long waits between courses. Definitely be back the next time in town.

Staff are always friendly and welcoming, nice surroundings, good to go early always get a table. Service excellent, The best fresh ingredients, cooked to perfection.
Highly recommend for good traditional Chinese cuisine.

We'd heard that many Chinese restaurants were struggling for customers with unfounded fears over the Corona virus, even though there was clearly no risk in going to a Chinese restaurant in Perth!! So, we thought we should do our bit and support a local restaurant to make sure they didn’t go under over silly fears.
On a Tuesday night we went, didn’t pre-book and when we arrived they were easily able to find us a table. I would think they were at 40% capacity in the main dining room.
There is an al fresco area at the front of the restaurant and then seating for around 40 inside. It is in a good area of Como with street parking at the door.
I wish we could say we found the effort worthwhile – the restaurant is clean and the girls, (Malaysian by the way), are very pleasant and helpful, but we found the food was just bland. We ordered chicken with almond, sizzling fillet pork and special fried rice as mains, and fried dim sum to start.
There didn’t seem to be a lot of taste difference between the two meat dishes, which isn’t what you’d expect, and we were really quite disappointed.
From the reviews we had hoped for something quite special, people say they drive from Rockingham to eat here, so we either picked a bad night or we have different ideas!
Really wish I could be more positive, for $66.00 for the two of us I would have hoped for something tastier – it doesn’t have to be high end, but our local Willetton Chinese seems to offer a better option and at a slightly better cost.

Lovely little Chinese restaurant in Como. Nice ambience with subtle lighting and dec or make for a pleasant dining experience. Dishes well prepared and generous. BYO and soft drinks available. Staff are friendly and efficient. Would recommend mend.

Love the Golden Mile Chinese where I have dined in and also order takeaway meals. Fab food at a good price and always great service. Plenty of parking in the nearby streets with an easy walk to the restaurant.

We found this amazing Restaurant by accident as it was within walking distance of our hotel. We were made to feel so welcome. It was a pleasure to see smiling, laughing staff and owner.
Then the food was served. WOW. Best food ever. Cant wait to go back to.

We went here for our evening meal menu prices were a little unclear 2 small spring rolls were almost 8 dollars they were over cooked quite brown
Had the chicken and sweet corn soup the. I had the honey chicken and my husband the curry prawn with fried rice came to 91 dollars which I thought was expensive
Wouldnt eat there again wasn’t able to keep the receipt saying how much items actually cost

Do your self a favour and visit this restaurant. We had the chilli salted squid and Duck with seasonal vegetables.
OMG the food was amazing. So good
We rebooked for tonight to try something different.

We enjoyed another fabulous night at Golden Mile Restaurant, we travel from Northam to indulge and enjoy boneless roast duck. It is the best in Perth. Make sure to try this restaurant you will not be disappointed.
