I really recommend this restaurant in this region of Portugal, near the border to Spain. The mood is really nice and typical, with all the decoration and even the space in itself, very good value for money with large and big dishes/doses enough for two...people in many cases. The service was nice too. Beeing in Portugal in a sunday was full of spsnish people, because of the border near and a proof of its quality at all levels. For sure to repeat.More

This is a nice restaurant in a lovely Alentejo village. The food, mainly typical from the area, was great and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Good wine selection.

This is a good local restaurant. We went mid-week in February and there was just our table and one other occupied, but the decor of rural implements and the friendly service made up for any atmosphere created by clients. The food was typical Alentjo -...rustic. Ask for the English menu. I had the grilled black pork which was very tender although served with the usual chips and rice! salad leaf, slice of tomato and onion. My husband had the hake which was served on the bone with broccoli and new potatoes. There was a good selection of desserts and the house wine was excellent and only E5 a bottle. I would rate this restaurant as good but by world cuisine standards, in my opinion very few Portuguese restaurants qualify for the very good category. Would go again as good value for money if I do not feel like cooking.More

Really enjoyed the meal at this traditional restaurant decorated with traditional feel. This is a good ones place to good home made traditional food. Portions were plentiful, staff were polite and helpful and there was a good selection of wines, and gins!

Not much choice in the area but well used by locals and good value. the mixed grill was good if a little salty as is the norm locally. Very rustic.

There are not many options in the neighborhood and tried this restaurant. The food is good, especially the black pork. Service was good, but don't expect to have an evening filling program. Within the hour we were ready. Good option for an honest meal. Loved...the goat cheese they serve as a starter.More

A wonderful restaurant in a beautiful town. The pork knuckle was delicious as was the black pork kebab. All washed down with tasty Alentejo wine.
