been enjoying my steaks here the last few nights. Service is largely good and the beers are cold. small but adequate selection of wines. always busy in the evenings so book ahead. open for breakfast and lunch as well
Really disappointed. We were recommended to eat here and the steaks came out tiny and really chewy. My Blue steak was smaller than my partners medium steak. The meal starts at $28 and then you get charged for extras, sauces, chips etc
The staff are...not helpful and I couldn't get a steak knife for my hard to cut Blue steak. I won't recommend this restaurant.More
We are vegetarian and the outback has yet to catch up on that. But pleasantly surprised at Rodeo Bar and Grill.
Selection was still limited but staff were awesome. They must be happy where they work! How lovely!
Vego pizza was lovely.
Highlight were staff...especially. GyanMore
The Isa had a decent range on the menu, however, the food was not executed on as well as it could have been. Steak was overcooked and salad was for presentation only. Good place for a schooner or two. We also tried the pizza which...was way too oily and not very nice. Staff were friendly and attentative, but meals took a long time to arrive. Bookings are essential as seats get booked quickly.More
The meal was good, but you have double check what you order as you may not get what you asked for, I had lovey main meal of fish, and they used have a lovely Calshaw with meal as well as salad, knowing this I order...my meal and salad with a side of Coleslaw, I and garlic bread, I get my meal minus my garlic bread and get sorry it’s not on there, still have find out if if I was charged for it, I get my with a side Coleslaw only to find the garden salad is now a coleslaw and it’s now very blend. And I have two them to eat :( don’t get me wrong the meal was nice but you have double check on what they give you and change you, so wishing I now stay somewhere else as I was also staying in the motel for a couple weeks and paying top dollar this will the last time I come here and stay :( as much as I like the place no Loyalty or customer service :(More
The Rodeo bar has the best steaks in town but can be hit and miss on getting them how you ordered them. I order medium but have had it blue and well done. The communication between taking the order and getting it to you can...also be hit and miss, we have had to wait ages because they have had trouble find our order. That being said when they get it right it is a good meal. Worth the risk as there are not many options in Mount Isa.More
Had lunch here the first time we passed through Isa and it was delicious so we returned for dinner on our trip home. We both had steak and it was absolutely mouth watering. I had the eye fillet which would have to be the thickest...steak I've ever eaten. Both of our steaks were cooked to perfection. Veggies were lovely as were the chips and I loved the sauce.More
