For those of us onsite at work, we ordered takeaway from a small local business and we were so pleased with our lunch. Fresh and tasty ingredients with packaging allowing for warmth and travel. The menu has a variety that allows for all tastes and...service with a smile. Thank you to this local business for its adaption to look after us. We will continue to look after you so you are there in the long term.More
Wow! Coffee, food and service are all amazing! They have a very extensive & diverse breakfast menu & great affordable kids breakfast options. They aim to please. Lovely people. You won’t be disappointed. We loved it so much we came back the next day! The...food is incredible. Gorgeous flavours & coffee the best in town!More
We were recommended to come here for breakfast. Whilst it was good enough, tables are small and social distancing is not as good as other places. Because it’s an old house turned into cafe, noise carries a lot so if you have a rowdy group...eating next to you it echoes a lot making it not a pleasant experience. Food was ok, but nothing to rave about. If you want a breakfast and not too fussy, 5en it would be fine, but if you are wanting a really nice meal, then I would look elsewhere.More
I found this place on TripAdvisor listing it as number one in Dubbo for breakfast, and it didn’t disappoint.
I didn’t find a lot of info about breakfast so i wasn’t sure what i would find here.
It’s actually quite hard to find and i...ended up on the other side of town looking for Brisbane St, only to find it was the end I started.
The signage out the front is almost non-existent so you really have to know what you’re looking for to find this place. It looks like someone’s front yard, but once you get through the gate you can see its the right place.
I was greeted at the front door and led to a table out the back, inside the ‘house’. There are seats in front garden but I’m here for breakfast and it’s 10 degrees. Plenty of seating all round.
I ordered the Pancakes with poached pear and butterscotch sauce.
When it arrived it was very impressive so i was eager to try it. The plate was set up in a tower with 3 stacks of pancakes and a whole poached bear on top drizzled with the butterscotch/caramel sauce.
The meal is not overly sweet and the pear is full of flavour, being soaked in cloves and cinnamon.
The prices are reasonable and the pancakes set me back $16.50, which is pretty cheap for what it was. There were quite a few savoury options, but I like my pancakes and French toast.
Overall, very impressed.More
Had brunch here with friends on a saturday morning, and what a perfect spot it was for a catch up with good food.
The service was prompt and efficient and it looked like a great meeting spot for friends and families. There was both indoor...and outdoor seating, the outdoor seating had heater lamps, which was welcomed on a cool morning
The food was well priced and super yummy. I had dukkah eggs on sourdough, a friend had the pankakes and one of the others had the summer breakfast. All of us really enjoyed each of our meals, and although the food was a bit slow coming out it was definitely worth it.
If you are looking for food that is a little bit different with good service and a lovely ambience, I would absolutely recommned this placeMore
