Came to you guys for dinner last night being Friday 18 September 21. This was during the level 2 lockdown. The young guys at the door, Scott did an incredible professional job of abiding by the rules set out. Had a great manner about him...Once in we were served by this cool guy named Carlos. He was really funny and he too did his job really well. They both work the rooms with ease. I had the Calli burger and Bruce the chicken. Both very very yummy and would have again Thanks to you all and next time we in Chch we'll come see youMore

Picked at random on Google maps. Amazing selection of craft beers, great bar snacks, best chicken burger I've ever eaten. Came for an afternoon drop and stayed for afternoon tea and dinner. Saw some dog patrons, horsey wallpaper in the bathrooms and the staff are...very entertaining. New local even though we're not that local.More

Great place for a drink and catch up and I hear the live music on a Friday is great and the staff here are super friendly. The let down is the food. Out of a group of us only one person did not rate their...meal as only average. Definitely the top meal was the fish n chips and so to be expected at an English style pub. Would not eat here again but will try out the music on a Friday.More

Well first and foremost the pub is dog friendly which is a bonus for friends from the north! The staff and service were excellent, especially as we arrived 20 minutes before the end of the lunch period. The food was excellent and you did not...have to fight to get a table or a beer, the prices were pretty good too, so all in all GV/GS/GF and dog friendly.More

There is no need to write about Pomeroy’s craft beer range - most of this would have been said already. So, why not rave about their burgers? Korean Fried Chicken Burger with pickled Cucumber, slaw, fermented chilli mayo, pickles served in a milk bun. Overall...2nd best burger I can remember I ever had. (And for what it’s worth: This one takes the number one spot for chicken burgers.)More

The craft beer menu has over 60 beers to choose from and 3 sizes, pint, midi and a half print. Excellent gastro menu to choose from as well and generous portions, not to mention very tasty. Excellent and friendly service.

Went for dinner, after over 25 mins after ordering our meals the waitress come up saying she was just " checking orders "so we told her ours again. Then another wait of over 25 mins our food turned up without even saying sorry for the...delay. Clearly our order had been missed but they didn't just own it and say sorry. Not good at allMore
