Our menu has something for everyone and will tantilise your tastebuds, from Smoked Pork Shoulder to Texas Style Smoked Brisket and Fresh Smoked Chicken Salads to Smoked Fish Burgers. Whether your celebrating a special occasion or out to enjoy a meal with friends and family we strive to make every visit one to remember. Opened in October this year, 2022 the Hideout looks forward to Welcoming you. It is mission is to create a warm, vibrant place for everyone in our community and visitors to Paihia.

Looking for restaurants in Paihia and came across this little gem. Excellent food quality & value. Staff very friendly and helpful.
They are currently awaiting their alcohol licence, but don’t be put off. You will miss out on the superb food.

So freaking yummy!! Cool, friendly vibe, and nice to sit outside away from the more busy main streets. gf options appreciated. Wish we were here another day so I could go back.

Had the beef burger,one of the best , second to my homemade one
On second thoughts, probably better than mine ,as it had a smokin' beef patty that bought it to an extra level

The hideout is absolutely a vibe! beautiful spot close to the beach and amazing service from the staff. Good is Devine and definitely worth the trip to this hidden gem ❤️

So delicious Pork Pita, friendly staff and great ambiance, even though we could only enjoy non alcoholic beverages the food and atmosphere more than makes up for it.
