Went here for lunch with family. We were visiting from interstate and had been before. We couldn’t wait to again have the “Deep fried soft shell crab with spicy salt”. It did not disappoint. The service is spot on and we have not tried anything...More

Large White table cloth Chinese. Each dish was excellent, particularly the Sweet and Sour soup. The Peking Duck came pre-encased in pancakes with thick pieces of succulent duck. Service was efficient and quiet.

We meet some friends who suggested this place. We opted for the banquet thinking that we would get a variety of dishes that everyone would find something they would like. No,just small serves,no choice whatsoever, and the food was no better than Chinese restaurants at half...More

Visited Tea House at Chinatown in March, 2018. When I arrived at the restaurant, I got the impression that this place is not well kept up. A few letters were missing on the restaurant name display. When I came in, nobody came to seat me...More

The tea house has a good Chinese menu and delivers on flavour. The steamed dim sims, fried dumplings and sechuan beef were all delicious. Staff are friendly and the restaurant has a cosy feel.

Understated looking restaurant Amazing food. Everything we tried was magnificent. The Maitre d looked at my partner up and down obviously his attire did not please him.

We had a family birthday celebration dinner on Saturday night for 11 adults at 6.30pm. When we all arrived, the service was fabulous and very attentive. As the night wore on and the restaurant become busier, we noticed that the earlier attentiveness was not as...More

Locals know that Chinatown is the tried and true place
to eat before hitting the nightclub scene. The place
simply buzzes, and the well-preserved buildings exude
a sense of Imperial China stemming from immigration
over a century ago. In restaurant after restaurant on
Little Bourke Street, you'll find delicious dishes
such as sizzling honeyed prawns, and value for your
money. Stately matrons oversee family kitchens serving
