Had a nice relaxing family lunch here on a recent holiday, walked in with no booking and the hostess was very accommodating. The place was packed with a very nice vibey atmosphere. At lunch they have a menu where dishes are around $12 , we all ordered of that menu and the food was well presented and generous in size , I should also add the service was excellent as well.

I like that they put sauces in side bowl so the meat and seafood are natural and eatable. Their staff are pleasant. Music is always good but so loud you cannot have a conversation. Love their decor. Their 4 person cocktail is good value at $24 but when I asked for coconut cream to be added they wanted $16 more, I'll take my own $2 can next time. I was so please to see the white Rhino statues in place I heard someone stole them. I was an April fool Lol

We are were in Surfers Paradise for a couple days for a holiday and obligatory pub crawl and we decided to stop here for lunch on Sunday. The venue and atmosphere was brilliant and the food was amazing. We ordered the chicken parmy and beef ragu off the half price lunch menu. I couldn't fault them and would definitely come here again. Very good service as well.

Cold food not so great service. Seriously I was so disappointed since I had high hopes for this place. I tried two nights in a row to get it and all the times the place was way too full for my liking. So I went in on an early dinner. I ordered a cocktail and some sparkling water. I asked for ice and lemon for the water boy that was my mistake. They took what seemed like an eternity then came with two glasses with ice and just dumped them on the table leaving me with four glasses for two people for the sparkling water. Then came the food after a long wait and yes I was pre warned that they was a kitchen delay. The food was icy cold. But why? I ate the chicken that seemed a bit warm because I was hungry. Oh did I mention the dirty cutlery. Never in my life will I be back. Surely you can do better than this for such a great looking venue.

Excellent service and food. Our waitress, Bonny ensured we had a table as soon as possible. Taco Tuesday was really good and the speed of the food coming out was quite impressive given the amount of people ordering food. Overall a very good experience

Pretty bad experience. Reservation was booked quite far in advance for my friends husbands birthday. Due to the rain on the weekend (which is no ones fault) they apparently didn’t have any room inside for us to sit. That meant we sat at a table outside slightly under shelter in the pouring rain and wind. The doors were then closed from behind us so we were completely excluded from the fun inside. We tried to get a reservation somewhere else around Surfers but everything was booked out.
I had to ask the hostess for cloth napkins to wipe our table down because it was getting so wet.
We were offered 1 round of free drinks to compensate (which was lovely) but then ordered food and the food got all wet. I asked a waitress if they had like a umbrella or something to try and cover the food, they didn’t.
My burger got so soaked, I didn’t even eat the bun.
We had people walking past our table as they were leaving making comments on how bad they felt for us.
I am making this complaint almost a week later because I just can’t get over how much the service annoyed me.

Had a dinner out with a couple of friends which is really hard to find the time together, we decided to go there because of the nice cocktails we can see on Facebook, the burgers are okay, but wrongly I ordered chicken parmigiana: the tomato sauce without any taste, my plate was having like a full can of yellow corn, a little piece of unfrozen chicken (not even fresh) and no cheese; I wasn’t expect that at all… anyway I also order a beer, my friends some cocktails I had to ask 4 times for that beer and waited for 45 min for it. I had to give it another chance I was really keen to try the famous “beauty and the beast”cocktail to sadly find it out, the waitress come to you in two seconds she uncover the cocktail, NO rose in it ( is a 27 dls cocktail and you advertise it like that) she removed everything in less than 5 second just put the glass in front of me and remove everything when I was waiting for a nice cocktail to take a video of course less free publicity for them. No really keen to come back.

My server was Desiree and she was an absolute gem, I have a really bad fish allergy and she doubled made sure everyone I was eating didn’t have any traces of fish. She also was very knowledgeable on the drinks in this bar and mentioned that the love bubble was yummy boy was she right it was the best drink I’ve tried on the Gold Coast. If anyone goes to white rhino make sure to have this super star as your server she goes up and beyond for everyone and makes you feel special and enjoy your night!!! She will also sing a lyric or two with you💕 This super star deserves a raise or something honestly!!!!!!

Me and my partner had came to this restaurant after friends recommending it to us. When we arrived, we were greeted by a lovely girl name Ashley. Ashley recommend the Chicken Parmar with Sweet Potato fries, both of us followed this recommendation. Fabulous lunch with great service. Thank you Ashley!

As business locals in the area it was great to receive excellent table service from Imke today for the awesome lunch specials. She told us all about happy hour and the different specials and kept the drinks coming- well done Imke. We love having table service!!

The food and atmosphere was amazing. We were greeted by a very lovely and passionate waitress named TK (I think) and she assisted us with choosing the best appetisers according to our tastes. She was very genuine and super lovely. This girl made the whole experience better.
I also encountered the bar supervisor, he was also extremely passionate about his work and made a lot of effort to engage with me.
The food was AMAZING absolutely LOVED the halloumi fries. Highly highly recommend this restaurant for their hospitality and Stellar food.

My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary dinner just after covid when restaurants opened. We arrived on time and waited aprox 5 minutes before someone came over and seated us. After we got seated at our early booking it was just us and a big group of people that came in after us that seemed to know management. we sat with our menus closed again for aprox 5 minutes and I was a bit frustrated at this point so I was staring at the server and she took a phone call in front of us and was quite rude once it was all done. The group next to us ordered after us but received all their food before us which wasn’t very nice and at the end we again had to wait ages to pay because the manager lady was talking to the group for ages. On top of that they wouldn’t accept our discount ticket because we didn’t tell them when we arrived but I mentioned it on the booking which was odd. It was bitter sweet because the food was so good. I got a Caesar salad and it was very yummy! A shame about the service

We took friends to White Rhino last Sunday and had the best afternoon EVER! The atmosphere is amazing! We loved all the cocktails and the entertainment was really enjoyable. There was 8 of us so we decided to order some share plates and were not disappointed. Can recommend the riblets, coconut prawns, duck spring rolls, truffle mushroom arancini balls and karaage chicken..... all yummy 😋😋

We recently celebrated a birthday lunch. Well, long lunch. We were there until around 7pm. The half price lunches were great value. I was sceptical about the slipper lobster, but the sizing was generous and appreciated. My steak was cooked to perfection. No complaints from around 18 people. The people was packed. Service was excellent.
The staff were really busy.
Happy hour between 4 and 6 was welcomed and fantastic.
Music was excellent, as usual.
Thankyou Michelle for looking after us.
My only criticism is the flooring near the toilet area is slippery. Be careful, I nearly went over.
Thanks again. We will be back.

On Sunday a group of friends went to finish off an awesome weekend away with lunch at white rhino.
All though the food was lacking flavour desire made us feel so welcome and made the experience funny and a good time for us.
Customer service was awesome !!
