Came here based on previous good reviews. But not tonight. Service poor, food average. Tables not cleared. Bone in rice paper roll. Disappointing.

I was looking for eating dinner on way. I only was walking and i could see a beautiful restaurant in rogan street. There are a veriaty of plants in the restaurant of exterior. I went into there I ordered 2 dishes and gin tonic and...beer. I never expected how about food and beverages. But it was very good. I can not stop eating and i can not control my fork. Especially service is good too and they were friendly enough. Maybe i think of eating the best vietnamese food in my life. I wanna go eat out here again. I love it. I think the soup in the Pho at this restaurant is the tastiest i've had. The beef is always tender and rare, and the service fast and friendly. Also love the betel leaf beef salad. Can't rate the place any higher.
Haven't had Vietnamese for a while, and this place was downstairs from our apartment. There were 4 of us. We shared a couple of entrees and 3 mains, and still had some leftovers. The flavours were delicious. The meals were prepared very quickly, and the...staff were most accommodating. The soft shell crab and pork balls were great.More
We used The Fork 50% off voucher for the banquet. The first course was tasty, chicken piece, spring roll and rice paper roll. The main was soup- very large portions, tasty broth but my beef was rather chewy. However; the fried ice cream was amazing,...served with macadamias and lychees.More
We took our kids ('kids' being in their early 20s) for a family dinner and loved this place. The service was quick and the food was amazing - we love good Vietnamese. We had the $40 banquet which came with spring rolls and rice paper...rolls as an entree, everyone's choice of Pho (Vietnamese noodle soup) for mains and deep fried icecream for dessert. Yum! It's also licenced. Highly recommended!More
Did not book but seated quickly. Menu and water offered quickly. Chose house wine - Chardonnay - $4.00 /glass. All meals were delicious. My crispy tofu has converted me. The betal leaf beef and vermicelli was delicious and the slow braised beef cheeks were amazing....I will admit that we had a $20 voucher, so with 2 glasses of house each, the total bill came to $64.00. Excellet value. Service was quick and attentive, even though the cafe filled up for lunch. Very happy experience. Really recommend.More
I ate here in December and thoroughly enjoyed the food so decided to pop back in for some takeaway yesterday. I walked in and up to the counter passing dirty empty tables, where staff continued to ignore me for a solid 5 minutes despite only...have a table of 6 half way through their meals. Finally the phone rings and the lady came out to answer it, not to say hello or serve me who she had seen standing there unattended. She proceeded to ignore me and take the order. Finally it was my turn only to be told that she would not veganise anything on the menu as she was to busy. Eeerrr okay. I explained to her that she had served me before and could I please just have the rice? No sorry I don't have time. Absolutely appalling customer service. Empty Restaurant, dirty tables and an inability to accommodate dietary requirements. Go elsewhere, they clearly not care about customers service.More
Food is excellent - fresh and tasty, beautiful flavours. I had the Betel leaf beef and my partner had the crispy barramundi - both delicious. We did have to ask the waiter for water for the table and an ice bucket for the wine but...otherwise service was good. BYO or licensed.More
Nice casual atmosphere, friendly staff. We really enjoyed the food, and sampling some dishes we'd never tried before.
Hello Reviewer, Thank you for the very kind review. Hope you come back and try our other new dishes. Regards, David.
