We highly recommend this bakery. The Black Forest cake you made for us was brilliant - it looked beautiful, and tasted genuine, yet it was quite light. And the birthday boy loved it! Now our little grandson wants one just like it for his next birthday so we'll be back. Thanks Kurt!

A brief catch up with a friend and I asked if we could visit Kurt's Cakes. Smallish cafe with indoor seating and two displays - one for savoury and one for sweet. I ordered a quiche to take away for lunch and enjoyed a superb lemon curd and fresh raspberry with white chocolate tart with my soy chai latte. My friend had a coffe and a red velevet cupcake. An unassuming place that produces delightful cakes and does celebration cakes to order. A nice spot to have a quiet catchup. Enjoy

Kurts cakes are stunning, They are always fresh, look stunning and taste great. Kurt will always accommodate what you need. The cakes are never heavy in cream or icings, perfectly balanced. I highly recommend a visit to Kurts, great coffee and other delights in store.

Lovely service by the girl who served me. $6.40 or something like that for a takeaway pie is pushing it a bit but not too bad.
The pie pastry was very odd. More like a quiche pastry. Not the worst pie ever but the owner might do well to sample a few other meat pies and review his pastry recipe.

Because?
I love vanilla slice ,and now I have had Kurt’s I will never be happy with any other vanilla slice again . The custard was creamy and smooth , the pastry was crisp and light and the icing subtle .
I’m going back today to try something else . Coffees were good and they had dairy milk as well as others . I can see why you get the accolades ..

I got two cakes, one for my wedding and one for my birthday. I was not able to taste my wedding cake but the black forest was rich and delicious. I find that the things your order are made fresh. Would recommend them!

I don’t know if I can add anything that hasn’t already been said. If you want an exceptional cake and exceptional quality don’t go past Kurk cakes. It is simply amazing and any cake will be the centrepiece for any occasion.

AMAZING coffee, great selection of cakes. Excellent service. We found this little cafe on recommendation of trip advisor.

My gf bought me one of these cakes for my birthday recently. I am in no way a cake person - i much prefer Savoury.
This custard cake was INCREDIBLE!!! Absolutely delicious and hightly recommend - i was eating it straight out of the box! sooooo worth it and so good!

The best cakes ever. Always fresh, made to suit the occasion and OMG taste delicious. The smaller sweets are perfect. I use Kurt’s for all cakes for special occasions.

I ordered a black Forrest cake for 4. They delivered it for a charge but I was happy to pay.
It was delicious. Happy to go back. Highly recommended.

The cupcakes looked inviting but the red velvet( or so I thought) was reddish but not velvet, partly defrosted( at 12.30pm) and stale. The iced latte was cold but not as I ordered. Disappointing!
