Very disappointing! We booked for 16h and we reached on time and they said the restaurante was closed. There was people eating inside but they rejected to give us any food! Miserable. Falsely the owner said booking was at 14h, but was totally untrue. Maybe...because we were tourists? Not a place to go, not a people to trust!More

The inn is situated next to Hærvejen and The Jelling Monuments with a splendid view to both the aforementioned. The outside seating is quite popular during the Summer. The food is traditional Danish old school cuisine, quite good but nothing really fancy. The staff is...extremely friendly and courteous. They have a childrens menu as well. Recommended for an authentic and no frills meal.More

It makes sense to have a beer here, when visiting the mounds. Better not skip it. Good biergarten and nice people. Moreover, they do serve nuts with the beer. The food is good, but not special or so.

We were there as a large group for a company dinner. Very traditional food. Service acceptable but not swift and approaching.

Very convenient and a quaint spot. We stopped for a late lunch. The food was excellent and the atmosphere very nice and comfortable. Would definitely go back to this place. A must try is the local beer and a snaps.

The Inn offers both a pub and a restaurant. The menu is a compromise between dishes for international tourists and specialities for local visitors.

We went to Jelling kro after a visit to the Rune Stones and the museum in Jelling. We ordered a Stjerneskud and a Pariserbøf, both of us very happy with our choice. The service was friendly and quick and the restaurant itself has a very...nice atmosphere. You will be able to have traditional Danish food here which was what we were looking for.More

Jelling Kro serves traditional Danish dishes and food is good and plentiful. We had chicken (juicy and nice) and wienerschnitzel (mad from veal). Both dishes as expected and with a fine service. Prices are - though - a bit high (184 DKK for a wienerschintzel...is a bit too much. You can have house wine - a bottle for under 200 DKK which is OK.More

We stopped here for coffee and were treated nicely. However, I disliked the nude art on the wall. Otherwise, great place in a needed location.

This restaurant has history associated with it that's worth learning. It is very near the museum, ruinstones, and church - a UNESCO heritage site. The food was tasty and promptly served. Nice atmosphere. The hours are limited, especially off peak travel season. It seemed a...busload of folks had just been served before we arrived in a separate room. The building is showing its age on the exterior.More

The restaurant is very close to the archaeological site and museum of Jelling. It was a sunny day so we could have lunch outside looking at the mounds. The food was very good and at a good price.
