Ordered last night and the three dishes we ordered were very disappointing. The Almond Soo Gai was the consistency and taste of soggy chicken balls. The mushroom fried rice had rice with soya sauce and mushrooms, that is it for $9. Very bland! Maybe you...have to spend the extra $2 for peas, egg, etc which you typically see in fried rice. The Cantonese Chow Mein had 3 shrimp in it. The flavour was just okay. For $15, that is unacceptable. Won’t be ordering from them again!!More

service was slow over half hour longer than I was told it would take. Ribs were just dried up salty pieces of pork not good at all they went to my dog. Rice was salty and I’m almost certain it was instant rice but probably...they best part of the meal. Sweet and sour chicken balls could have used another minute in the frier the sauce was very odd no sweetness to it at all. And to make matters worse there weren’t even any fortune cookies or sauces included in the bag. Will not order againMore

What a great little take out restaurant! Great prices and they give you MONSTER portions! Delivery is quick and staff is friendly. This is my go to Chinese take out in town!

The plants are real, the art is real, and the food is very fresh. I am always on the lookout for good chinese food, and was not disappointed here. I ordered a Mushroom Chop Suey, the canary in the coal mine for any chinese restaurant,...and my personal favourite dish. It took 10 minutes to be ready and was well worth the wait. The entire dish was hot, but the sprouts still crisp, the mushrooms generously present, and the garlic finely diced and in good proportion. The container is deceptively large and the food unexpectedly filling. I will be finishing it for dinner. The sole caveat is the lack of seating. It is their business model to be a takeout restaurant, but I should have liked to eat indoors. Still, eating this in the car did not detract in the least from the quality of the food. I will be returing to Munchie Express if I am ever in the area again.More
