Highly underrated.. it is like a hidden gem. The food was good, reasonable. Service was excellent. Owner was very kind in greetings. Would recommend this over some known indian restaurants in the area. Must try!! Support this small business.. grow big.
Each of us ordered different dish and they all tasted great. We had Buttered Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Rogan Josh, Samosa with Garlic Naan, Rice and Papadums. Being from the UK I am very spoilt when it comes to Indian food. I have heard that you will never get anything in Oz as good as you can in the UK. That said, the Dosa from Flavours Indian Restaurant was quite nice. Not...particularly highly spiced and the accompanying curry sauce was not particularly spicy but it was ok. Worth another visit to try some more of the food.More
Flavours is one of my regular haunts in Bundoora. Terrific food and a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff are friendly and always accommodating. The food quality is consistently very good and you get quite generous portions for a very reasonable price. The only reason I...didn't give it 5/5 was because it doesn't have a 'cosy' feel (probably due to the bright lighting and relatively plain decor). This place is great to eat on a budget. At the given price, the quality of food and ambience is really good. The staff is very casual and not well trained though. Water glasses smell at times. Rest all is fine! Worth trying the paneer...makhani and shahi Paneer. The garlic naan is also tasty.More

I was excited to finally find dosa place near my house. My excitment ended there. I had plain dosa and it was too oily. Chatani was bit sweet.As I was the only customer no one bother to turn on the heating.
Had food delivered so can't rate the dining experience. We ordered one mild and one medium dish (heat/spice) and they were exactly the same which was a bit disappointing but the serving sizes were good and the naan bread was excellent.
No reservations, the four of us noticed one table of Indian customers eating, otherwise empty. Decor is pleasant, comfotable seating. Food was plentiful, we ordered double of the Baji platter, 4 samosas and potatoe chickpea pattie for the four of us, as we didn't know...the size of the servings. We ended up, cancelling one main dish, one lot of rice and one bread as we were so full from the entrees! Not the bests Tandoori prawns I have taste dead, they lacked that dense Tandoor flavour, but the rest of the dishes were wonderfully tasty. At around 9pm, more people started arriving, all Indian and we saw plate after plate of Dosa come out. We spoke to a couple at a table close to us asking what they where and they explained saying "Everyone comes for this". So next time we visit, which we will, this is what we will be tryng. Staff very courteous, warm and welcoming.More
This place does amazing dosa! Also, they have the best, rich butter chicken dish in the area. They have super fast delivery, and also conveniently located restaurant. The restaurant staff are SUPER friendly and helpful.
Good food and nice place for family . South indian food is awesome . We love to visit fortnightly for south indian food and my wife's fav is uttapam
