Great quality food at a rather small, non descript restaurant. It’s at the top end of MJ square and owned by the larger than life owner, Larry- who will engage in useful chat with guests whilst they wait for they food.
The food quality is excellent based upon what I ate and saw of what others eat and would definitely recommend the sizzling steak as a favourite- proper quality and quantity of pieces of beef.
Arrive early or late to guarantee a table and help Larry move to bigger premises as he deserves to share his menus with a bigger audience.

My partner and i were craving some western cooked steak after travelling for some time away. Larrys spot was perfect and Larry himself was lovely stopping in to have a chat with us. We got the fillet mignon and tenderloins and both were cooked beautifully and served with an amazing Dianne sauce 👌🏽 yummo

We enjoyed the pork steak with a sauce on the side and a sizzling pork tenderloin. We both chose mashed potatoes to accompany the mixed vegetables. The sizzling pork was served in a delicious creamy sauce. The quality and flavour of the pork was excellent. We would return if in the area again.

There are many reasons to long for Bantayan. Larry restaurant Sarapoi is one of them.
Sitting on the plastic chairs in this "little hole in the wall" is a must.
You can't help but feel comfortable. Larry with his personality and Angel with his makes you immediately feel at home.
With one major exception. The food prepared and served requires talent that is not like home.
No matter what you choose, or let Larry and Angel choose, it's so delicious that more delicious almost doesn't exist.
We can't wait for next year!

Larry is so warm and welcoming. A good selection on the menu, I tried the sizzling Shrimp Gambas, fresh and full of flavour. The restaurant was well cooled with plenty of fans. Nicely chilled beers. A lot of expat residents dine here, and many returning visitors. I’ll certainly be going back.

Very cool place on Bantayan Island. To get a table, you must arrive early. By evening everything is busy and you have to wait to get your seat. Often you have to share a table with other guests. Everyone wants to try fresh seafood. As far as we understand, the cafe belongs to a local family and literally every passer-by knows them. They love their work and apparently this is the secret of their success, popularity and luxurious dishes. We tried both shrimp and scallops. We ordered a lot of things, but emptied all the plates. Good luck and continued prosperity to this wonderful place!

Food here is amazing, especially their sizzling steak. Highly recommended!
Gourmet burger 1/3 pound patty was made of pure beef. Chicken vindaloo was made with freshly made naan bread. Their crispy pata was super juicy and tender, but its skin was still very crispy.
Personal favorite tho was their sizzling pork tenderloin with mashed potato. Their pepper sauce was a whole experience. It was an explosion of different flavors—must try.
But most specially, aside from their food, the owner and staff were also very friendly and accommodating.
Sarapoi really is a go-to place in Bantayan Island!

This little gem never fails to serve excellent food at affordable prices. We have been eating here for several years and really enjoy the varied cusine and my favorite salad and vegan vegetable curry, and my wife's fish curry served by the loveable owner 'Uncle Larry'.... Thankyou ❤

When on vacation or holidays, best food is always comes with it. And tonight, dinner in Sarapoi in Sta. Fe, Bantayan Island so far is the best. I give 5 stars because of quality, portion, presentation, service and the price...
The owner Mr Larry and the rest of staff are very accommodating.
My Bantayan Island tour is very memorable trip for us from their seafoods to beach and souvenirs (Paradise Beach) and of course my last dinner in Sarapoi ...

The kilawing tanigue is so fresh and very delicious. The pork tenderloin is also a must try. The owner is vey warm and accommodating! We ate during late lunch and didn’t disappoint with the service. We didn’t wait for too long unlike with Chef Panyang. We’ll be back for dinner!

Larry the loveable owner of this restaurant is recovering and his daughter is back in charge.... normal service, menu and excellent food is resumed. For local curries and their take on a European cusine, this is still a must go to in Santa Fe

The enigmatic character Larry reeled us in from the street to his simple little restaurant smack in the middle of the Food court of Santa Fe and what a gem. From sea to plate has never been so true and we have eaten nowhere else. Larry himself is better than Google when it comes to local knowledge and what he doesn’t know isn’t worth knowing. Fab staff headed by the heavenly Angel makes this a must on any foodies agenda

Wow. Larry is the best. This fantastic eatery may not look the flashiest but it has the best food around. The shrimp and calamari are to die for. And all our mains were fantastic. The price was great too. Do not walk past this one. You will be impressed. Only regret is we found this awesome eatery on our last night. Thanks Larry, you and your friendly staff rock!

Sarap Oi is the most loved eatery in MJ Square. The locals call it Larry's because Larry is the loveable host and owner
His menu take you around the world. A must try are his Indian Curries and local Crispy Pata
The food is excellent whatever you select, prices are readonable and his friendship is one solid reason why we look forward to eating at this gem of a restaurant in MJ Square

Always good to have dinner at Sarap Oi fondly called Larry's at MJ Square. Must have the Salad followed by Vegan Veggie Curry with Nan Bread for me and Sizzling Tenderloin Pork with Mash Potato for the wife
Great to see Larry back to health and at his beloved restaurant. Really a must go to regular in Santa Fe
