Stopped here to break up the drive from Taupo to Wellington and glad we did. Beautiful grounds with a great view. Everything there is pretty much brand new or in good nick! The animals were a good touch to the place as well. Would stay again.

Just had a fantastic breakfast here. Great people & delicious food. Loved the Pod accommodation (didn't actually stay but looked so cute). Huge parking too which was good for our truck.

Visited for an extended family brunch. Service very friendly and very chatty with children which was lovely. Play area for children in restaurant. Moved tables as we were in draft. After brunch looked for animals as we had purchased food. Animals not around by maze. Finally were directed to car park to see alpaca and goats. Wasn't suitable to be... More

Thank you WellingtonJen for taking the time to review us-I'm glad that overall you seemed to enjoy your visit. Sorry to hear you were disappointed with the lack of animals-we do have the budgies, Rabbit and guinea pig out in the garden as well as our resident cockeral. The alpacas and sheep are usually in the paddock right next to... More

WOW! Last time we were here was about 4 years ago - loved it then, really loved it today. We arrived about 10.30am as the meet up point for other family and decided kicking our holiday off with brunch was perfect. Two big breakfasts, a chicken burger & chips, eggs benedict, open sandwich and coffees were all great!!! Staff were... More

Stopped here for a very quick bite, was on the road in 25 mins with a fully fed family. Nice menu that addresses child and adult palates, vegetarian, and carnivore. Very nice staff as well.

We stopped here on our way to Wellington. It was very busy with busses arriving in the afternoon, but quiet with just another camping couple on the campground at night. Everything is very well taken care of, clean and overall nice. The cafe serves excellent coffee. Campground facilities were the cleanest we have experienced so far!

Family run place surrounded by sheep and alpacas and llamas and other animals. Nice and small campsite surrounded by green hills. Staff is super nice and helpful. Bouncy castle and maze as well as playground for the kids. We stayed here 1 night with our campervan.

Very amazing atmosphere, great hospitality all round. Friendly staff, scrummy coffee and cake selection, and very accomodating when the baby had a explosion and they just laughed about it :) would definately go back again!

Traveling with dogs isn't always easy. It is here though, couldn't be more accommodating. We often do the trip from Hamilton to Waikanae and have stopped at lots of cafes. This was one of the best. Good food great service and a bonus of farm animals a maze and swings etc if you have kids.

Sister loves this place so we stopped. A good cafe with good home cooked food. Savouries were a little frugal in their filling but tasted nice. Mushroom pie good. Great thickshakes! Walked the maze to stretch the legs and it wasnt too difficult; (plus you can see under if you need to cheat). Big warning though. This place caters for... More
