Tatiana and I had the best time ever. Giovanna & Franco are beyond being terrific hosts - they are just fantastic people. Tatiana and Giovanna became immediate friends and had a great time chatting away about all sorts of things. Franco exudes charisma and charm...and makes you feel right at home. The guest all seemed to feel at home with these two and it had the feeling of being one big happy family. If you find yourself in this area or if you are trying to decide where to visit in Italy, please give Agriturismo Del Piccolo Principe a try - you will not be disappointed.More

I took my family here for a week in August 2020, having set my expectations to "average". I was so delighted to find my expectations surpassed in every way. A lovely hotel situated high in the langhe hills southwest of asti, perfectly situated to visit...Turin, Asti, Alba, and everything nearby. More than comfortable rooms (with A/C!), a fantastic restaurant (we ate there 7 nights and were delighted and surprised at each meal), a fantastic wine selection ( we drank a different red and white at practically every meal and were never disappointed), and a caring and attentive team that made us feel like family. Any one of these would be testimony to a great agriturismo, but ALL of them in one place is hard to imagine. Yet here it is. Highly recommended.More

We stayed one week with the family at this lovely hotel, and it was the highlight of our entire summer holidays! The most outstanding about this place is the incredible hospitality and kindness of Giovanna and Franco, who made us feel like home and became...real friends. All rooms are nicely decorated in the theme of the little prince, and very spacious. We especially appreciated the air condition during this hot summer time. The terrace and restaurant are in an elegant and modern decor, but with a personal touch. The garden is very spacious and offers many nice areas to enjoy the peace and calm, and the beautiful landscape. The meals were delicious, starting with the daily breakfast with homemade products. Special wishes were promptly fulfilled to make everyone happy. The dinners consisted of typical gastronomic specialities from the Piemont, all homemade by Giovanna. Franco recommended the nice wines to make the dinner perfect. Altogether it was a real pleasure staying at the Piccolo Principe, we enjoyed it and will definitely come back! Thank you for all!More

Unfortunately we could only stay one night and it was an incredible hot day. However, Giovanna welcomed us with so much love and care, provided us some delicious Apperitivo when we were a little bit hungry in the afternoon and let us taste some wines....She made us feel like home immediately. The location itself is very lovely and well-tended. Lots of flowers, a Pool, beautiful rooms with terrace or balkony. Although we did not even stay 24 hours - we fell in love with this place and with Giovanna :) We wish Giovanna all the best and hope that we come back one day :) Marcus + CarolinMore

We have been staying at Piccolo Principe several times - it's been a must when we travel to Piemonte for wine trips. We stayed at this B&B in June 2017. The service was outstanding. The host, Giovanna, went above and beyond in every respect. From the meals and excellent wine selection to the accommodations, everything about Del Piccolo Principe is exceptional.

The food is amongst the best I have ever had in Italy and elsewhere and then I have travelled all over the country and visited every region. As this is an agriturismo the food must mirror the traditional food in the region, so if you...want to eat excellent Piemontese food, this is the place to visit. The quality of the ingredients is top notch and the passion and the love that is put into the cooking is without comparison. I will return over and over again and recommend travellers to do the same. Enjoy!More

We stayed 4 nights in one of their tastefully decorated and comfortable rooms and had dinner 3 times. The two sisters Giovanna and Clotilde are just great, they are very warm, friendly and helpful. They helped to organize us several visits to wine producers and...had a lot of other good advice for sightseeing. Food was great, dinner and breakfast. Very tasty cheese, cured meat and omelettes for breakfast. For dinner they serve authentic and seasonal local cuisine. We especially enjoyed the "Carne Cruda", raw tomato soup with mozarella and the roasted rabbit. The only downside: there might be some repetition of dishes if you eat there for several consecutive nights. Also very good selection of wine and good advice for choosing them.More

Piccolo Principe is a beautiful property because 2 caring sisters, Giovanna and Clotilde, restored an old property impeccably. My husband and I arrived for dinner on our first nite in the Piedmont. Only Giovanna was there. Her son does the cooking. And, what a meal...they serve!!! No menu. We started with beef carpaccio with a Russian salad on the side (Despite its name, l’insalata russa (Russian salad) is originally from Piemonte.). Then came a pastry filled with leeks, cream, and egg yolk. Then, I had a risotto with yellow squash. My husband had ravioli with spinach and ricotta. My husband also had rabbit with vegetables. Giovanna recommended a wonderful Barbera D"Asti to go with our dinner. My husband had an amazing chocolate souffle for dessert. I had a delicious hazelnut semifreddo.(Sound like enough food? ) Giovanna sat with us and had coffee. She made us feel like we were friends who came over for dinner. The evening was amazing. Dinners like this are what we look for....they are memorable. Giovanna is a hostess/server who goes above and beyond anything you would expect. The food was delicious. If you are in the Piedmont and in the vicinity of San Damiano d'Asti, be sure to stop here for a meal and an evening you won't soon forget.More

I've never written a tripadvisor review, but was so impressed with everything about this experience that I can't help but do so this time. This place is run by two sisters that are so lovely and personable that you will feel like they are family...by the time you leave. The food was astounding. The service was tailored and friendly. And the accommodations were beautiful. They have a small wine cellar with wines from the region, and are opening a tasting room in the house. So it's a great place to learn about some of the regional wines as well. If you are heading to Piedmont, stay here. Without a doubt.More

We celebrated our wedding here with closest friends and family on the first day of Spring 2015. Giovanna and Clothilde went out of their way to make sure that everything was perfect. From the beautiful reception, to the delicious lunch and one-of-a-kind cake. We could...not have asked for more and would recommend them for any occasion. Our only wish is that we could have stayed longer to enjoy the hotel and grounds!More

Delicious local products, perfectly prepared, amazing wine-cellar with bottles starting under 10€! Special arrangements for children. The tasting-menu for 30€ is quite big thoug, you have to come with an empty stomach because Giovanna already prepares 3 delicious starters, then pasta, then perfectly prepared meat...and finally a dessert you shouldn't miss (like semifreddo, creme brulée etc..)More
