Celery and chestnut soup as a starter was very tasty. The main course was meat birds with mashed potatoes and beans. I really enjoyed that too.
We had great service and felt very comfortable.
We would love to come back.

We saw this restaurant on a holiday trip and spontaneously asked for a meal. Very friendly we were directed to the beautiful terrace. The food was excellent at a very fair price. The service was very friendly and attentive. We can highly recommend the restaurant and will definitely come back again.

Delicious food, very, very friendly service, 5 stars for that!!
We sat outside, with little effort you could have achieved a more harmonious ambience. Lots of grey, which is neutral... that's what many people chose. What wasn't so harmonious was: the bright light from the fridge (the one with the glass door) and generally in the area, sprucing up the huge concrete block in which the large (quite dirty) umbrella stands, uniform colours for privacy screens and parasols, some of which have faded... a little more visual harmony (especially for the guests looking towards the house) would be a plus and would round off the great service and the good food... this criticism is not meant to be malicious, just a hint that you might not be aware of in your everyday working life because you don't get the chance to sit down and take it in.

First visit (and not last) since the whole business is under new management. Friendly and courteous greeting. Great lunch menu, fast and friendly service. Quality of the food and presentation as I/we expected. Would gladly go back!

The Metzgerhalle is a cosy restaurant taken over by a very nice international couple. They serve lovely international and local food at a good price. Friendly service.

I went to the Rebstock Restaurant for dinner with friends. For the weekend it is necessary to make reservations because the place is usually packed. The service is very friendly, efficient and gives great recommendations on food and wine. The menu offers a large variety of local cuisine with a seasonal focus point. Our first course was a steak tartare that you can order in different amounts and different spiciness. The meat was one of the best I ever had. For the main course we ordered steak medium rare. And it was cooked to perfection. We ended the meal with a lovely arrange fruit salad and a good coffee.

I've been to this place many times for dinner, and they never disappoint! Fantastic food, fast friendly service, and all in a quiet family & friends environment. Quantity and quality are worth the fair price! The butcher is next door and supplies the meat for the restaurant.

It's super delicious here. Mr. Joder is very friendly. The atmosphere is very nice. The wine is also super fine. And the ice cream is also delicious.
