Our philosophy, led by renowned local chef Daniel Vella, expertly combines the flavours of both traditional and international cuisine. What a fantastic restaurant - we ate indoors ( good job as it rained !) beautiful building .
This was probably the most pricey , however
We started with a cocktail each and then we had 2 sharing small plates , a fabulous lobster thermidor risotto from the specials menu to start ( that was divine)
Main course steak Diane and Duck with a couple of side dishes washed down with a good bottle of red wine.
Good value for the quality of food and the service was also very good .
It felt like a special occasion and I’m so glad we visited .

Everything was exceptionally good.
Not just the best restaurant in Mellieha but also in our top three best ever restaurants.
The price for this outstanding meal was also very reasonable at €80 for food and cocktails.
Our compliments to the chefs, bar staff and waiting staff.
My only disappointment is that we have had to return home and can't eat here every week.
Thank you all again for a truly memorable meal.

Just the right place for a lovely evening for two. My husband and I were here for my birthday. The terrace is set in the main square where there are a number of other venues, making for a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were very attentive and explained the menus very well. Pre dinner cocktails were excellent and went down very well. We ordered Aljiotta and Asparagus and cheese tartlet to start, followed by Prawn pappardelle and stuffed saddle of rabbit. Deserts were a rich chocolate brownie and peanut creme brulee. All washed down with an excellent bottle of french sauvignon blanc and a bottle of water Service was not rushed and we left feeling very full and happy. Thank you Dom's for a beatiful end to my birthday.

We went here for our last evening meal and it was superb. The food was outstanding as was the service. Set in the peaceful Parish Square it felt you were miles away from the hustle and bustle of the busy street.
It was a little more expensive than some of our other meals but so worth it from the starters through to the desserts and wine everything was served with care to detail.
There was 6 of us in our group and everyone agreed they would recommend Doms Brasserie

How this doesn’t have any Michelin stars is beyond me. The restaurant itself is in a beautiful building and decorated beautifully. The staff are friendly and knowledgable.
The food is next level. A small taster bowl
Of pumpkin soup with basil oil was served with home made bread and a beautiful dip. I had saddle of lamb and my wife had rib eye steak which were cooked to perfection and tasted unbelievable. The presentation was superb also. Not the cheapest but every penny spent was well worth it. Not to be missed

What a treat it was to stop here on a Thursday evening after a long day of walking and sightseeing. I arrived disheveled and tired, but was, immediately, made to feel welcome and at home. Mark greeted me with TLC and good conversation.
I only wanted a light meal so I ordered a special starter of local rabbit-stuffed ravioli topped with the divine creamy sauce and hazelnuts. It was just delicious.
Along with that, I was served a perfectly crusted homemade sourdough focaccia bread with a remarkable tomato paste spread that included a mixture of herbs and dates.
I would be pleased to return again!

We had an amazing Dinner in this beautiful restaurant. Both the food and service were amazing. We started off the dinner with some snacks, shared some pasta dishes (the cacio e pepe risotto was outstanding. For mains we ordered the Wild sea bass, cooked perfectly, and the lamb saddle, mind blowing. For dessert we shared the cherry cheesecake, it was great too. We will definitely be back. We were lucky enough to be staying in the rooms above the restaurant, which is situated on a pleasant square, near an amazing church. My wife said it was probably the nicest location in town (especially if you're not there for a beach holiday).
As guests we had a 10% discount, but even without that it was not expensive.
The food was fresh, original, nicely prepared and presented and extremely tasty. It was one of the few meals we had which wasn't "too much" (they like to load the plates in Malta!). Equally, it wasn't too little (I hate paying over the odds for "avant garde").
Had I not been on a mission to try all the interesting restaurants in Mellieha we would surely have been back several times.
Great choice of wines too and all reasonably priced!

We went for dinner and we had a wonderful time. The dishes are elegant, tasty and the service impeccable. I had mouth watering mushroom gnocchi and the fish of the day, my partner had the chicken. We appreciated the freshly baked bread, the nice view (we were seated on the upper terrace, with a wonderful view of the sunset light towards the cathedral) and the friendliness and professionalism of the servers. I highly recommend the place!

Fantastic food and service to match, the setting in the square below the church is beautiful and the food was superb. Myself and my wife started with the Sea Bass and prawn gyoza, followed by the Chateaubriand and deserts, we could not fault any aspect of the evening and would recommend the restaurant 100%, not the cheapest but you get what you pay for in this life.

Dining at Doms Brasserie is always an exceptional experience from start to finish. The overall ambience sets the stage for a memorable meal and the service is nothing short of impeccable. The staff is attentive,knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. Doms offers a diverse menu that caters to all tastes and every dish we had was a testament to the chef’s culinary expertise. The quality of the food, service and overall experience make it well worth the cost.

We were welcomed at the bar and served with amazing cocktails and drinks until all of us arrived at this fabulous place.
We were then seated and professionally guided through the mouth watering menu by Mark the restaurant manager who explained passionately each and every ingredient and their combination with a selection of fine wines.
The food was impeccably presented and orderly served from the initial introductory snacks all through the scrumptious courses down to the desserts,coffee & liquors.
Absolutely well done to all the staff who made this evening an evening to remember!
Will definitely be back again! Highly recommended!

Julien and Mark were our hosts at the restaurant this evening and we enjoyed their fine cuisine in a nice ambient with a lovely view over the square, the church and the cliffs.
The fish of the day was delicious and the food that led to the main course was very tasty as well.
Looking forward to seeing them again I recommend you stop by as well and enjoy a unique meal!

Me and my husband had an unforgettable dinner at DOMS in the middle of September. We stayed indoors where the ambience is very warm and charming. The waiting staff were very professional and each dish was very well explained. The food was simply outstanding and the presentation of the starter, the mains, and the desserts was amazing! A big well done to the chef and the whole team for a delightful evening by Mellieha Square. Highly recommended!

This place is just beautiful, the building is stunning, the detail that went into everything is unreal! The plates, the cutlery everything was just wow! The service we received was outstanding! Every dish that was bought out was perfect, presented beautifully and tasted amazing. This was the best dining experience I’ve ever had! There were 4 of us dining for a birthday meal and we all thought the same! Best meal we’ve EVER had… we were so lucky to find this Gem in the 4 days we were in Malta and would love to go back. If you’re in Malta and thinking about eating here I promise you will not be disappointed!
