Excellent service from Sotto as always but huge thanks goes to the great team at the St Julians branch.
Dalila and Lucio were extremely accommodating with our requests even though there were some specific dietary restrictions. They handled it very professionally and made everyone feel extremely welcome, always with a smile and a great positive attitude.
Kudos to these two hard working people since they make a huge difference.

Sorti Pinsa Romana is a small collection of Roman-style pizzerias.
The original, Valletta, location opened a few years ago, and is very good indeed.
The St Julian’s location is very new -in fact, their “official opening” has not yet happened, more of a soft opening.
BUT, it has all the quality of the original, which is to say, outstanding.
All in all, Anna and Aron deliver a warm, welcoming, and enjoyable experience.

I came to this place with some friends for the first time and I will definitely be back! Welcoming and well-kept environment even if small. Hospitable, kind and super helpful staff. Thanks to Stefano and Dalila for welcoming us and serving us in a courteous and very warm manner. We took three different pinsas, which were brought to the table already cut so that we could share them between us quickly and easily. All three very good. Rectangular, well filled and tasty.
Excellent Italian pizza.
And finally we had two desserts to share and these were also excellent (Sicilian cannoli and fried zoccolette with Nutella and chopped pistachios).
Prices are normal for Maltese standards when it comes to pizzerias and restaurants (18-20€ each).
I highly recommend it!

Food:
Quality of the food was okay, however, in terms of quantity, the pizzas are fairly small - too small to be full, which is rarely seen at pizzerias
Location/atmosphere:
Not at very appealing location nor atmosphere - not terrible but definitely not good. The bad atmosphere were probably also driven by the terrible service (see below)
Service:
The service experience was really bad. Waiters were very awkward and pushy and were standing and waiting around our table, giving a felling that we needed to rush and leave straight after finishing our pizzas
Overall not a great experience. Cannot recommend.

Unassuming facade in a side street reveals a very friendly atmospheric restaurant. Although empty when we arrived at 7pm within 40 minutes cit was electric with groups of 2 to 8 people. The restaurant specialises in appetising pizza. Rosse with tomato sauce, blanche without. They do another type (fav cache?) which is folded. Pizzas were just like Mama used to make. A tiramisu fished the meal nicely. 2 pizza, 4 wines and desert were €55. Great first night in Malta

First time for us…. excellent pinsa, quality products, the dough is a marvel .. to taste it is to adopt it !! No more pizzas, long live the pinsa!♥️
On top of that, we had the pleasure of being served by a very friendly staff☺️

We chose here based on the fabulous reviews, however was quite disappointed.
After walking up steep steps to get to the top road we entered the restaurant a little out of breath and hot. We were greeted by very friendly staff and seated but was immediately asked what we would like to eat, we hadn’t even looked at a menu. From there on in it was all very rushed and the staff hovered near us which was a little uncomfortable. The food was presented nice but was quite bland. We had the diavola pizza which is supposed to be hot and spicy but it tasted more like a pepperoni and didn’t appear seasoned. We definitely didn’t leave thinking wow that was great.

Had a great dinner at this pizza place. It serves good traditional oven baked pizza that is thin sliced . The accompanying drink and the dessert compliments the pizza .
The pizza is fresh and well made . Certainly a great pizza place.
Service was efficient, polite and the suggestions were spot on . A good place for a wholesome meal . Pizza is around 15€ and the helpings are pretty large . Wine is around €5 and dessert around the same price .

I chose this place because I wanted to eat Italian food but not the usual pizza, and in fact I was pleasantly surprised. Here they serve the famous Roman pinsa, not to be confused with the now eaten and re-eaten pizza. The very nice restaurant is located in a quieter street than the chaos of the centre, tastefully furnished, with lights and armchairs that create a familiar environment but not the usual Italian restaurant seen over and over again with checked placemats. I drank a Campari spritz and it didn't make me regret the ones I drink in Italy at all. I took a pinsa with Parma ham and burrata, what can I say, the pasta was just right and the raw materials were truly excellent.
To conclude, I wanted to try the house tiramisu which did not disappoint me, it looks like grandma's, I have eaten fewer of them in Italy.
Excellent prices.
Particular praise goes to Stefano and his staff, for the welcome and professionalism they put into advising me on what to drink and eat and above all for making me relive some of the Italian fears and tastes in Malta.

One of the best places to eat in St Julian’s. The pizza was quality, homemade,fresh and delicious.
Prices were excellent value for money and the staff were very friendly especially Stephanie. Would definitely visit again and recommend.

Amazing pizzas, and Stefano is polite, attentive and really kind.
The restaurant is one of the top rated budget-friendly spots in Malta, and you won’t be disappointed if you try it.
There was a sign in front of the place that said something like “we don’t speak very good English, but we make very good pizza” and it is true.

First time in malta and we fancied an Italian, where the prices are good. The food is lovely and the service is excellent 🌟 the staff were very helpful at explaining the menu and making sure we were happy with our orders. I had carbonara prima, not my usual thing but tasted lovely, and zoccolette romane and this desert was sooo good absolutely loved in (see photos)

I heard about pinsa before and even I tried some but when I moved to Malta suddenly I saw an advertising saying : Pinsa Romana and I didn't think twice, just I came in and I ordered Mortazza Supreme pinsa...OMG! I felt in love with that pinsa...the base was really what I expected but in addiction that pinsa was full of high quality ingredients. Besides, the atmosphere is fancy, the attendance so professional, Jose and the other guy, Aaron!
They are so welcome and kind.
I highly recommend to visit this place and order the tiramisú too, delicious!

Overall, the pizza isn't the worst we've tried, but it's also far from the most delicious. Very tough dough. Very strange service: They brought us small appetizers before the main course, and we were sure that, as often happens in Italian restaurants, it was a compliment from the chef to brighten up the wait. But no, after a while a waiter ran up to our table and took away the snacks, saying that they were meant for another table. By this time, our child had already touched the snacks and said that they were overcooked, the waiter saw this, but nevertheless took them to another table. Some kind of stinginess that I don't understand...

My partner and I are on holiday in Malta and we were looking for a 10 with honors dinner and we relied on the reviews, which led us to San Giuliano to this place. When they brought us our dishes we were overwhelmed by the flavors and product quality 100% recommended.
Very friendly and prepared staff.
The desserts were phenomenal and since we were so enthusiastic about the dishes we didn't even take a photo so we will be back 😘
