We have frequented this restaurant for years, regardless of what you order it’s good. From the house salad to the entrees, then you have dessert. Recently we had chicken franchise, eggplant parm and meatballs.

We used to love this place! Not sure if there’s been a chef change recently but we were disappointed in our favorite spot at the Jersey Shore. Service and atmosphere were great. We loved our waitress. But unfortunately most of our dishes were tasteless. We...enjoyed some apps - the calamari with long hot peppers, mussels, and clams oreganata were great. The salad that came with our dinners had a really strong grated cheese on it which kind of ruined the salad. It didn’t taste like parmigiano reggiano or pecorino. I was dying for eggplant parm. The eggplant itself was good but the sauce was awful. Tasted like straight tomato purée….no onion, garlic or spices. My friend got the shrimp parm - same thing just no flavor. Other dishes that were just ok were the shrimp scampi and clams with linguine. I hope it was just an off night. We didn’t get dessertMore

Place is overrated, host was kind of rude. Take it or leave it attitude. They definitely do not need your business. If you care about food quality, taste and Costomer satisfaction go to PJ’s. This is were we ended up going. Chef Antonio has it...going on. Thank you Rockafellas for being such sh!@t heads or we would have never discovered PJ’s... the place is casual look but the food is 5 star restaurant quality... loved it. Pictures are from PJ’sMore

Food was a disappointment as was the atmosphere. Prices were too high for the quality of food poor compared to other Italian places near by such as Tardi's.

We eat here 20 times a year. Maybe more. The owner and her family feel like part of our family. The Italian food is simply perfect. The apps are the best around, the location and atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. The secret is out so...beware. Several hour wait times in the summer are typical. BYO and enjoy a drink while you wait. See you all soon!More

We have been to this restaurant 4 times in the last 2 months and are never disappointed. It’s a BYOB type of restaurant and the food and service are 5 stars

Rockafellas is a really great restaurant. Well-prepared food. We really loved their sister restaurant, On Top of Spaghetti in Seaside, until Sandy did it in. Rockafellas added many of our favs from OTOS to their menu including the beans, escarole and sausage, penne vodka (hands...down the best anywhere) and the strawberries with cannoli cream dessert. BYOB. Really the best on the island and would be great anywhere. No reservations tho.More

Rockafella’s is a very good restaurant. I’ve been going with my family for a few years now, but it’s not absolutely not a 5 star restaurant by any means. It’s good, quality Italian food down the shore. We went anticipating a wait this past Saturday...night and told the wait would be about 1 HOUR, 50 MINUTES for a table of 5 people. At what point will you just start taking reservations? That is absolutely insane to expect any family to wait that long for dinner!! At least let people call ahead and shave off some of that time. So ridiculous.More

We've been told no reservations even for party of 12. We took 8 people there and still had to wait over an hour because they didn't take a reservation. Maybe they'll take it in the winter? I would guess never in the summer.
