Very nice location, beatiful terrace, warm and professional welcome despite I've arrived at 3.00 p.m. for the lunch.
High quality seefood and prices aligned with the perceived quality.
I visited this magnificent restaurant for the past few years and compliments to the chefs and the owner, it should be recognized by many more for the special touch in every dish that comes of of the kitchen, superb, superb, superb, unfortunately do to a...family emergency I had to leave ASAP this year but if you there this place is a must.
Deffinally top 5 for me.
And yes great wine choices.More
This restaurant is so good we have been back and plan to return in the future if we can! It's a family run place and we've been served by the owner - the first time we turned up, it was just as they were closing...for lunch at 2.30pm - but they stayed open for us - just us, and wouldn't take a tip for it! Amazing, beautiful seafood, great wine (Falanghina, local, but we just asked for what they recommended), amazing view. We've been there when it's been crowded with large Italian families as well, and it always has a lovely atmosphere. The view from the balcony is amazing - sit there if you can, and then go for a walk along the coast (they will recommend where to go if you ask).
Along with the bread at the beginning is an imaginative and delicious parmesan crisp with honey - do have some form of antipasto (they're all good, but the cuttlefish are exceptional) and the pasta (I once had some kind of linguine which was striped lengthways white and black (cuttlefish ink) with crab, which was amazing). The secondi are not enormous but you may not need them. I've never managed dessert.
GO! Your tummy will thank me.More
I will keep it short - this is a great restaurant in a beautiful location and you should really go there if you happen to be in the area. The chef clearly knows his stuff and makes tasty dishes with local produce (mainly seafood). Also...the same dish can be prepared in a slightly different way depending on the season, for example the cuttlefish was served with leeks in summer and then with artichokes as winter approached.More
Went in by myself for Lunch, only person there! Spoke no Italian, but somehow managed.
Seafood was wonderful, antipasti of octopus, and secondo plate of large scampi ( small lobsters) and pasta side. The food was delicious, service great. They really took care of me....Prices were reasonable. Loved the crisp white wine, Falanghini. Over all a wonderful lunch.More
