This hotel is tucked away right by the ocean in Hu Hin near monkey mountain. 33,17 Soi Ao Hua Don7 Non Kae Chang Was Prachuap Khiri Khan 77110. The beach is very clean and offers boats and sun beds. The bar is well stocked. The...service is super. We went there for lunch last Sunday on 18 Sept 2022. and enjoyed the weekend meat promotion from Australia. My lamb chops were cooked perfectly, exactly as I requested . My friends had Fish and Chips and a Glass noodle salad. We plan on visiting again, every weekend as we were very impressed with everything at this restaurant. Great ambience too and a lovely ocean breeze.More

We didn’t stay at this hotel. We went there for dinner because its location for the firework festival. Location is good. Food is very doubtful. My salad dressing is ONLY the olive oil. I had to ask for Balsamic, salt and pepper! It is the...chef recommendation. Really??? The hamburger seemed to be OK. Service: Some waitresses are very friendly with reservation and seated BUT not efficient! Perhaps the house was full but still! One waiter is VERY RUDE! I didn’t get any bread for my salad. Asked one waitress and she confirmed that I should get it in the beginning. I got the bread 20 min later and there was no Amuse served. She came and asked again but I still didn’t get anything. I finished my (self made dressing) salad and this waiter came to clear the table after we gave up waiting for bread around 50 minutes. I asked about the Amuse and he told me that I finished my food and it is NO POINT to get it. I should get it in the beginning!! Well!! Is it my fault that they missed serving me??? How he reacted was VERY RUDE!!!!!! PS. 😡😡😡😡 PS 2. We were about to order some more but thanks to this guy, we saved money for bad food and the attitude! PS. 3 how did he know that I finished eating? I had the menu in front of me. PS 4. I felt like I begged for this meal! I paid for it! PS. 5 After came out 2 hrs later, I am still angry!More

Just returned to the US after a 3 week stay at Anantasila Villa by the Sea hotel with virtually every meal taken at their restaurant The Beach at Anantasila. We arrived at the hotel at 3 am exhausted and ravenous and two perfect club sandwiches...were awaiting us in our room! When the jet lag passed we headed down to the most bountiful Thai/International unlimited breakfast buffet imaginable. It was delicious and varied and one would be hard-pressed to find a more lovely beachfront location. The restaurant is open on all sides taking advantage of the lovely ocean views and cooling breezes of the water. At night when the sun goes down all the tables sparkle by candle light and is very romantic. We are return guests to the restaurant and were delighted to be welcomed by name by all the friendly and very attentive waitstaff. This kind of treatment is very special and not frequently encountered in fine dining establishments. The Thai and International menu is so extensive that there was no need to venture out of the property (except for Indian one night!). The Thai menu is excellent and there are daily Thai Set Meals that are very tasty, reasonable and showcase the range of beautiful and flavorful food in Thailand. (The fresh seafood was of course extraordinary and perfectly prepared from both Thai and International menus - don't miss it!) The International menu offered so much variety- any favorite I could think of was represented. The Pork Saltimbocca, Weiner Schnitzel and Salmon were all excellent as were all the steaks. The beef is aged Australian beef and so tender and flavorful- I had it several times with either blue cheese or peppercorn sauce. The Beef Carpaccio over rocket with Parmesan shavings was so good i had it several times a week at lunch - probably the best I've had. So I believe I need to stop waxing long and poetic, but it's a rare restaurant that can keep customers coming back night after night for truly excellent food, highly personal service and lovely ambiance!More

While staying at the Anantasila hotel I had many opportunities to eat at their fabulous restaurant Anantasila by the Sea. Whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner the food was excellent and always cooked to order (e.g. mild to spicy or rare to well done)....The breakfast buffet always a cooking station for eggs, crepes, etc. The lunch/dinner menu is quite extensive with plenty of Thai and continental options. We were even able to order items off the menu once or twice with no questions asked. Did I mention the unique cold towel provided before your meal - a very nice touch. You know it s a good restaurant when there are many locals eating here all day long.More

I recently spent several weeks in Thailand much of which was at Anantasila Villa by the Sea While staying there many meals including, breakfast, lunch and dinner was had their wonderful onsite restaurant, The Beach at Anantasila Restaurant & Bar. The setting was spectacular with...every table having a view of the water. The flowers, lanterns and white tale clothes made each meal an elegant experience. The staff was attentive, remembering us. The manager, chef and servers regularly stopped by our and other tables ensuring everything was perfect. And of course, I have to mention the food. Not only was there a large menu with both local and European food, but if there were any special requests, including something that was not even on the menu, they would make every effort to meet our request. Giovani, the head chef, makes incredible fresh pasta that can be had in ricotta lemon ravioli, beef manicotti, or whatever you request. As an American I had to try the hamburger, ribs and pizza none of which disappointed. The Thai food is very authentic. Some of our favorites are the papaya salad, Panang, Pad Krapow Moo, and the Massaman that my daughter ate on a regular basis. And for breakfast don’t miss the Khao Tom. Make sure you confirm how hot you want your Thai food because if you ask for it “Thai style” it will be very spicy – just the way I like it, but your tastes may vary. The breadbasket, including focaccia and deserts are all made on premise. My favorite desert was the lemon sherbet with a splash of something in it and served in a champaign glass. You will not be disappointed.More

I'm a frequent visitor in this place but after recent chefs and management changes the food quality and service just became worse and we will not return so easily. All nice presentation but flavours and quality leave a lot to be desired. We visited with...friends in last 2-3 a few times and there was always something which left us disappointed. We gave it enough chances but this place lost it. Once we were waiting for the starters 2 hours (set menu were all should be prepared). My duck spring rolls were 3cm long and full of cartilage and arrived 1 hours after everyone else had their main course or asking for a bill. The size of their spring rolls double if not more and filled with duck meat. They clearly ran out but still charged me. It happened to 2 of us and we clearly just cancelled main and left bitter taste. Neither restaurant manager or chef showed up to say sorry and put it right. Yesterday, all the dishes were super salty. Some inedible. We had moroccan chicken with no Moroccan flavours at all, one super tiny croquette and chicken was just awful. Like a rubber and plastic together. The chef basically told us this how he does it (sous vid for 4 hours) and nothing else. We keep saying how horrible it was but we felt the chef wasn't interested in our complain. He told us the restaurant will not charge us for this dish but at the end they did. Of course, because we were starving, we ordered another dish. One starter for me and dessert for my friend at much lower price. When paying the bill, we found out we had to pay for the most horrendous chicken we tasted in our lives at 320 baht and they didn't charge us for the cheap dishes. We tried to argue but they wouldn't have it. Simply the food and service is just not worth money. It's such a shame because Anantasila has a great location and was always our favourite places to go but in recent months it seriously lost the plot in terms of quality, attitude and service.More

Service was really good by Pla and Cake and the super friendly Dutch Food and Beverage manager who has been there for ever. When we left it was close to capacity with diners, hey they must be doing something right. I love this restaurant and the great food and friendly staff.More

There is no doubt that the beach next to The Anantasila is in pristine condition and certainly inviting but if you elect to use one of the dirty old deck chairs being pushed by the vendors, expect to pay 150b each for the privilege. Add...in some basic Thai food at the several beach restaurants and the overall bill soars well above the value. Dining at The Anantasila is substantially more expensive with VAT and a 10% service charge added to your bill but at least you can be assured of decent quality with pleasant surroundings.More

It was very delicious. We then spent...the day at the hotel section of the beach with access to the swimming pool also. Late on in the evening we came back for a birthday meal.
