Although this place has changed it's name to something more dull and generic, this is without doubt my favourite bar in Baler. Lovely people, great pool table - a great location with marvellous atmosphere suspended over a stream. Play pool for a million - a big bottle of Red Horse and have a great time!

This place is small but very special. The owners are super friendly, billiards, good music and excellent food.
Our only fault was Pancit - a little salty but suppose that’s to do with taste.
The beer is cold, excellent snacks and a very well run and operated place. Kudos to the owners

Uhuru has good food and their tacos is a must try. The sisig was ok as was the rest of the food we ordered. Just avoid the caesar’s salad. Will definitely come back here for the tacos.

When a place tells you that the kinilaw (ceviche) will take a while to make because they still have to fillet the fish, that's a place you can trust to make good and fresh food. Everything we ordered from the tacos to the burger were delicious and the atmosphere was just the right amount of chill. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5 is because it took us an hour to get all of our food, and it came in waves. But I guess that's just the pace in the province.

This bar is always run by top-notch management. At the moment, Torey and Kim are doing an amazing job. The food is delicious (try the tacos) and the drinks are reasonably priced. The best part about the bar is the ambiance. They kind of have a traditional nipa hut / reaggae beach bar vibe going on. On any given night, it's easy to meet foreigners, Manileños, and locals alike. It's my and wife's favorite bar in Baler.

Short walk from the surfing beach in Baler. Awesome food with a cook who really cares. Nice music and pool table. All brand new with a surf vibe. Make it part of your trip.

A hidden gem in Baler! Good food, great place to relax and the owner's a great host! A must visit if you're looking for a nice quite place to relax, have cold beer and just play some pool!

Hidden cool place in Baler! Great place to drink and chill after your adventure. Food and Drink is great though it's kind of pricey. Place is a simple 2-story bldg made of bamboo but its very relaxing. Owners are surfers themselves and you'll love talking to them.

Came here with new friends to play pool. The swedish owner is really friendly and the staff is accommodating. Will come back again next time i visit Baler. :)

A must to go place if you wanna relax with friends, be who you are and be loud as you want. A place where they welcome with open arms. The owners are friendly and amazing!!! And they are the only place in Baler that serves ice cold beers!!! And the swedish meatballs are to die for.. Love this place!!!

One spot in Baler where you can just chill, with an ice cold beer in one hand and an awesome taco in another. 2 Storey resto-bar - second floor is a good chill out spot where you can play cards or drinking games with your friends - downstairs is a perfect mingling area to talk with friends, common travellers or just simply play pool/billiards

This is a relaxed bar with a pool table and friendly atmosphere.
I'm vegetarian and they prepared a taco without meat or fish which was really tasty. I was in a big group and everyone was raving about the food and ordered more.
They open at 7pm. Tacos are only served on weekends.
