Food is delicious, and affordable (lke most places in Baler). It would make for a great family restaurant except the music can be too loud. We were served a bowl of sinigang where the bowl had a hole in it so most of the soup just dripped down the table. Other than that, service is good. Order the grilled pusit (perfectly grilled, super soft yet smoky!) and the pork bbq.

Good for baler standards

It's located at sabang area so there's a lot of competition there. The good thing about this place is it's rather clean, not very hot and reasonable price for food quality. They cook the food upon order. Grilled squid is nice. Yellow fin is their specialty, but if you order it, tell them not to over cook it because when we tried it, it's dry. Not advisable for people with knee/leg problems because the seats are upstair.

Yellow Fin is a place for when you have all night for beers paired with local grilled specialties. But never dine here if you're hungry and in a hurry, as you'd fall in line like everybody else, while their kitchen staff attends slowly to a very long queue of orders.

Food is good but the service was bad

The food is good but they REALLY need to improve their management and service. Having our order taken and getting the food was slow and we had to follow up too many times to get our order. Having a tarp asking customers to be patient is not the solution to the serving time.

Overpriced for ala carte, untidy

Wasn't told pork dishes were ala carte, a bit overpriced for the hype. Ordered blue marlin for dinner, was too salty. No service water served. Table was not cleaned. Were pets allowed? Damn the barking of dogs inside the dining area.

Ihaw cravings satisfied

A great spot for your ihaw cravings in Baler. Reasonably prized even tho it is right across hotels and inns. Dont expect food to be served on time.. keep in mind that everything is grilled as you order. But definitely worth the wait. Ate's and manang's there are jolly and will give recos on what to order. Add this to your food trip list when in Baler. It's also a good night spot tho we did not go but we can hear the vibrant music.

Man vs Seafood!

Abundant, fresh seafood grilled just the way we like it! It’s located on the 2nd floor of a hut, with only a few crammed tables so best if you come early to secure your space. The line can get pretty long, but it’s worth it. Your seafood craving would definitely be satisfied! Their grilled liempo (pork belly) is so good too. One of our most memorable meals throughout our trip. Can’t wait to come back!

Not worth the time nor money - disappointment

Tuna - Baby tuna, was expecting a grilled tuna steak but nope it's a half baby tuna how is it even legal to serve those size fishes when they're suppose to be on the verge of extinction. Squid - rubbery Chicken - The meat tasted like it was cooked yesterday and was reheated. Here's the thing about newly grilled chicken the bone absorbs heat therefor helps the chicken meat hot much longer, now the chicken we received was warm (not hot but warm) on the outside and cold in the inside. Plus it's full of bone again not a good quality meet. Rice - too much water. Maybe we received the bad batch of food or whatever but I personally cant understand how on earth this restaurant landed on top 10 unless there's not that much restaurant here which seems to be the case. I am not inclined on coming back but I do hope people writes honest reviews as supposed to sugar coating. Its not nice when you rely on reviews and then witness yourself slowly shrink into disappointment.

Would need to fix their queing

Since a lot of people go here to eat, expect a loooong line. This place needs to fix their queing. After waiting for more than an hour, when we asked our order they could not answer us. Instead they looked for our order on that stash of paper. That's where they place all the orders, patong patong lang. So they would not know if okay na ung order under 1 number unless may mag followup. They seriously need to take a look and fix their system.

Nth time to dine in this place. The food has always been soooo good. Our favorites? Grilled pork belly, pako salad and grilled yellow fin tuna. This place can get very busy so it’s recommended to come early. Unfortunately, service falters when the place is packed. But it still does not take away from how good and reasonably priced the food is here. Will always come back here when in Baler.

Food is fresh, delicious & affordable. We went back here thrice during our stay. We ordered the Tapa-silog, Grilled Squid, Liempo, Talong and Garlic Buttered Shrimp. Longer waiting time on weekends. So go here early. Staff is accommodating too.

The food was definitely fresh and is cooked to your liking. We enjoyed the regular liempo BUT please do order the Tuna and the their Squid. They have nights where theres a DJ but overall its a bar that you can easily go to and enjoy a couple of beers just behind Sabang beach.

Beer and bbq, no more no less

Yellow Fin is popular because it is good. Fresh calamari, prawns and so on. But it can get super busy especially on the weekends when Baler fills with locals getting away to the beach. Eat out of feeding hours, chat with the staff; they are a lovely bunch, just run off their feet.
