Expect a crowd during lunch and you may have to wait to get a table. If you’re hungry and want an affordable & decent meal, this is the place to go. When we visited they had pork, beef, chicken and seafood (calamari & small shrimps)....Limited selection on desserts. I indulged on the calamari & shrimp. They would easily run out, but just inform the staff and they will refill it.More

Was pretty curious about the place and so tried to look for it when we got to Baler. It was a sunday..lunch time. We got in at around 11:40 a.m. There were more than 25 foodstuff to choose from. They were all ok. For the...price of 200, not bad for an eat all you can. Alrhough if ever you go there with a group, make sure everyone is on noard...otherwise you'd have to cut short your stay because others might be waiting already for you outside which happened to us. The salad dressing is not really that interesting...so its up to you if you would like to try it.More

We went to Gerry Shan's because the reviews were mixed - some liked it and some don't. My family and I had to find out for ourselves. Initially, the food looked okay. However, just like what other reviewers said, the food was cold and I...find the taste similar to every food that had. My husband enjoyed their fish dishes and my daughter likes their veggies. I'm easy to please but this time, I agree with the others. If you want a cheap buffet and just want to satisfy your. hunger, then go to this place. I am just going to say that the food was so so so.More

This is not the place we intended to have our dinner after a long day of touring what Baler has to offer. I'm craving for a lobster the first day we set foot in Baler, and the place is just next door to Gerry Shan's....But we're unlucky that the place is already closed. However misfortunate we are, it is still a very good luck that we've found this place. You can eat all you want and all you can for the price of 200 pesos per person. No much selection for vegetarians, but for meat lovers, it'll be a feast.More

Gerry Shan’s Place is a value for money buffet resto. 1. A lot of food selection and tastes good. 2. Friendly and accomodating staff. 3. Eat all you can.... unlimited 👍👌👏 TIPS: 1. Arrive early... best time is 11:00 to 11:30am 2. Parking is difficult......ask permission from the locals to park in front of their property. 3. Always be POLITE and SMILE. This resto is a MUST TRY.More

Good value for money. Buffet at P200 place ok. Extensive food selection about 10 or so dishes to choose from. No left over though. But they are not that strict. They have service water ready. Good for large groups. Food not that awesome though but...filling nonetheless. It’s just that their rice is not cooked properly. Comes with dessert of fresh fruits 🍉 and sweets too.More

If you're looking for a place that's cheap but will fill your tummy, go to Gerry Shan's Place. It's a tricycle away from Sabang Beach. There are lots of kinds of viands available-- from seafood to pork to beef to fried chicken. Food is not...exceptional, but okay. Be warned, it is very dirty, and can get crowded during peak hours.More

Perhaps it’s cheap because it’s located in a faraway province some 250 kilometers from Manila and the cost-of-living is definitely lower. There is absolutely no way you can find a similarly priced buffet in Manila offering as many favorite Filipino dishes like kare-kare, pork chops,...grilled fish and squid, and more. It’s impossible not to get your money’s worth here, unless you’re on an extremely strict diet. But then again, why even bother to go here if you’re dieting?More

They refill the buffet table late, dishes don't expect much as it will disappoint you, no serving utensil for fruits. Service and discipline inside buffet area are very poor. Food not worth it.

Look, for 200 pesos we didnt expect much. It was a good deal- there was a lot of food choices. I dont eat red meat though so my options were limited to grilled squid, fried squid and fried catfish. The only downside is that the...food was not hot or warm, like it had been there for quite some time. There were flies around and no on swatting them because the only staff was ‘refilling’. And when she was back she was using a flyswatter! Anyway, one time is enough. It was close to the hotel and after exploring the area we will give the other restos a try.More

Disappointed...Before we went to Baler, I did some research about this resto. According to some reviews they serve unli seafood. However, when we went there the only seafood that they have is sinigang na hipon. One of the staff told me that crabs are no...longer part of their buffet and it can only be ordered as an ala carte. Other dishes are just "so so"More
