Meat (sliced pork) was expensive, chewy and tastesless; I was really disappointed about my main course; fortunately, we had a startet before, so it was not necessary to leave the restaurant absolutely hungry...
We were there twice, a couple of months apart. So they have nice, well aged meats. However, quite a few of these cuts are not on the menu and they won't tell you about them (or maybe just not if you're Italian isnt that good)....Most cuts come with a side of grilled vegetables, which are nice. The meat is good, but not extraordinary. The weak point is the service as it seems that everyone serves a little everywhere, the result being that nothing is getting done everywhere. This was the case on both our visits. Both times, we were among the first two or three tables, I can only imagine the patience required once the place. Good concept, very friendly staff but marred by a lack of Organization, which ruines the experience.More
Awesome place that should be added to your list when visiting Elba!! You can smell the BBQ down the road. My boyfriend and I went, without a reservation, and unfortunately we were told there was no room...we came back 30 minutes to closing and got...a spot :) Glad we did because the BBQ is delicious and the outdoor seating area is a great atmosphere.
We ordered ribs, sausage and veggies. All were cooked to perfection! The green salsa that comes with the meat was amazing too. Wanted to order dessert because I saw it at other tables and it looked amazing but we were just too full.
The service is a bit slow but quite honestly, if you come to Italy, you need to learn to relax and understand the culture. The staff definitely took their time but they were very nice. Thank you Barbacoda for the good memories and great food! We’ll be back!More

Came here spontaneously hoping for a tasty BBQ meal but unfortunately the ribs were so chewy they were barely edible and my vegetables were cold and without flavour (my fault I suppose for being vegan!) but the veg in the meat plates were much better!...Service brisk and quite unfriendly but nice atmosphere for the lights, music and of course the flaming BBQ! In our opinion not worth the high the price.More

Hello, let's not discriminate between vegan and carnivorous vegetables 🤪 Thanks anyway for coming to visit us.
