There's a new look and feel for Bigg's in Iriga. I was told they were already acquired by a new franchiser hence the "personal" touches. There are family portraits, an homage wall to a matriarch and a more homey service... the latter I truly appreciate.
Their all time favorites are still intact: the laing with porkchop, fried chicken, bbq and java rice among others. I go for their bangus, which is smaller in serving and not as fat (in meat and belly). It's actually enough to make me full until the next meal although not good enough to wow me.
I am impressed by the level of service by the staff. They are most courteous, efficient qnd knowledgeable about their menu.
Bigg's Iriga is located across the main plaza a few doors from the former municipal hall. Price is high for this part of town although still affordable.

We had the usual fried chicken meal and a Bicolano variant of pork chop (with laing). Large servings. Great chicken. OK porkchop but the laing compensated for it. Great diner ambiance and interesting 50s decor. Very friendly staff who even referred us to competitors' specialties when asked. Great value for money, when one wants a break from full service restaurants.

I ordered Cajun chicken with rice quick service by very polite staff. It was very tasteful. The chicken was cooked just right and with good flavored Cajun spices. I would eat at Bigg's everyday if I lived closer to it.

Bigg's diner is a good option for fast food. They offer not just the usual burger, spaghetti, or rice meals, but provides local flavor. The branches in Southern Luzon offers specialty from Bicol and Batangas.
Try the 'porchop with pinangat' meal or the bicol express meal for a unique taste in a fast food.
Costs P160 to P225 per meal.

This Iriga Centro's institution's ambience is a mix of a Hard Rock Cafe, an American greasy-spoon diner, a Jollibee and a Pinoy burger stand (think Burger Machine or BigMak). A good place to hang out with friends given the tables, seats, radio music and overall ambience. Expect to see the occasional western tourist tying to get some comfort food of burgers and fries. Staff is friendly and attentive.
The burgers are rather small for their price (PHP100-200) and are perhaps just a slight upgrade versus the much cheaper Pinoy burger of consisting of thin, fried but flavorful patties that are probably not 100% beef. The newly introduced fried chicken rice meals appeal well to the Pinoy kids and those trying to get their fill with rice.

Great place to go when your family is American and Filipino. Great for breakfast. Was actually open on Christmas. Portions are Filipino sized. Which means, if you are looking for American sized portions, you will want to order 2.
A little on the expensive side for the area.
Waiters and waitresses are attentive to your order. I don't believe they have bottomless drinks.

Visited Naga City this weekend! Went to Biggs at past 1pm yet it was jampacked! We have to be seated at the end part(but it was cool as we were very near the AC 😊). We ordered salisburry steak, it looks and taste yummy but it was served not so hot!😔 it would have been much better if it was served sizzling hot(it was on a hot plate).
We came back an hour later to have our supreme halohalo, we waited for so long but it was worth the wait!
Btw it's in Naga and not in Iriga City, and it's open 24 hours. Try it!

I am a local of Iriga City and honestly i seldom visit this place however it came one afternoon that I decided to eat here.
I wasn't expecting anything but I was really satisfied with the food as well as the service given. the crews are polite and I can say that their food was good as well. True to their statement "We are not fast food, we are Good food".
The place is great they also have free wifi.
Highly recommendable if ever you visit Iriga City

What makes it special is that it is original resto of bicol. You'll not see this kind of resto in any other place, maybe few but it is originally in Bicol.
Imagine being in a province and a resto serving chix and chips, pasta and fries, more like american to go food. Ambiance and design of the place is good.

This seems to be Bicol's version of Jollibee. It boasts of delightfully crunchy fried chicken and yummy salty fries. Just the way i like it!

It's menu offering includes burgers and goto, rice meals and pizza. There's salad and baby back ribs. For dessert, there's halo halo, cake and pili nut. Chicken and burgers are its specials, unfortunately, I didn't order either. I had rice porrige with tokwa't baboy and halo halo and carrot cake. All were so-so. A letdown. The price is more expensive than other fast food joints.

My friend who lives there was very proud of Biggs so she took us there for dinner on our first day. I ordered chicken and barbecue which I think was a little expensive. Chicken part was big, barbecue was not tasty, too dry.

Went to the Naga Branch as a stop over. At that time the toilet stinks and you can smell it. Staff is friendly and very apologetic.
Price is a bit pricey for a small portion.
Went we arrived at Legazpi, we decided to skip Biggs.

A truly cute fast food restaurant, a take on diner ambiance. Enjoyed sitting there and listening to the music. Food was nice, yummy but your coffee is so small. For a caffeine junkie like me I need a mega sized coffe to kick start the day! No free refills either.
