Warm, inviting location. Sunday, so usual Sunday dinner options. Menu doesn't offer much options apart from that so quite limited. Roast dinner was great, lots of meat, gravy, stuffing, big Yorkshire pudding, mash as well as roast potatoes. Pork was slightly fatty and potatoes could...of been crisper. Vegetables came with limited quantities which we found odd as they were the cheapest part of the meal and if we wanted more would be charged for extra. Not sure boiled courgette have any place on the dish also, possibly if part of roasted veg dish. No parsnips, pigs in blankets which is a favourite when included. Many youngsters serving the table which ended up in many wrong drinks orders. We didn't mind as not fussy but may need more training. Overall good but small improvements would make it great.More

Lovely lunch here today with my friend. We both opted for the fish cake and salad, followed by Salted Caramel Panna Cotta (Jayne) and Strawberry Meringue Roulade (me). Service was great from the waitresses - barmaid could have been happier and a bit more welcoming...though 🤷‍♀️ Could not fault the food which was delicious!More

We have eaten at The Woodhouse Arms twice in the last week and each time both the food and service was absolutely superb. Great atmosphere, and friendly and attentive (without being overbearing) staff. Everyone found their meals delicious ~ the King Prawn, Coconut & Mango...curry was beautiful and definitely do not leave without sampling the Lemon Bakewell Tart! Highly recommended 5* venueMore

Delicious food in a safe environment. Lovely friendly, efficient staff. A relaxing evening with friends and the food was so delicious. Salt and pepper squid and the fish of the day were the highlights but friends had the pie of the day, fish and chips...and steaks also all amazing. All seriously good.More

Went for Sunday lunch with wife, sister and partner and had great food for really reasonable prices. £19.95 for three course or £15.95 for two and food was all great quality. Staff were nice and location was pleasant! Absolutely go there again.

Here at The Woodhouse we like to think that we are very child friendly, we have a young discerning diner menu, high-chairs and the odd lego brick to build with!
