I had the schnitzel and my wife had Steak Tar-Tar, both of which were okay and hit the spot. This is a tourist restaurant in the middle of Vienna and the price was reasonable bearing in mind it’s location.

Do book as super popular. Located in the historic part of Vienna. Traditional restaurant with lovely and fun staff. Believe me though one schnitzel between two is plenty! Biggest schnitzels in town I’m sure!

Old University Quarter
North of St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Vienna suddenly
turns small, winding and medieval, opening up to
legendary places such as the Basilisk sculpture at
Schönlaterngasse, as well as glamorous baroque
façades, courtyards and churches. Take 45 minutes for
a casual stroll through Bäckerstrasse,
Sonnenfelsgasse, Köllnerhofgasse, Grashofgasse, and
Schönlaterngasse. This quarter is packed with stories
