I've tried a Wiener schnitzel and have to say it's good value for money. An enormous portion was enough for two people, actually hard to imagine eating it by myself. Nice, quiet interior right in the city centre, certainly a good choice.

The Hinterholz is tucked away and this was probably why is wasn't as busy as it should have been as the food and service were good. I tried the Vienna Tafelspitz, which was very tasty and like the Original Wiener Schnitzel my wife had, the...More

Good reasonable price with large serving portion. Very polite service and no service charge to the bill. They will recommend you the schnitt beer which is smooth and sweet taste, a must order. Schnitzel (3 pcs per plate) was nicely done; no oil drip out....More

Stopped here for dinner on our trip to Vienna and was pleasantly surprised. Cool atmosphere and great food. We had the beef goulash, which was a bit salty, but still the best meal we had in Vienna. Big portions.

Located on one of the main Vienna streets, this is a typical restaurant that serves very good food that we want to eat when visiting. Definitely a restaurant to revisit when going to Vienna again. Pros - Very nice food with a homemade touch. Great...More

Overcharged for schnitzel when the waitress took my order wrong, even though I was pointing to the item. I have worked as a waiter, it happens sometimes. But they were not willing to do anything to correct the issue. Food was not bar or good...More

Visited at Xmas and the entrance is impressive as are the external review advertisements but there the expectations for a good meal end, our meal of schnitzel was disgusting and as we left 75% of a pricey meal we were asked why and the waitress/barmaid...More
