Wiener schnitzel extremely expensive but not worth it (you will find higher quality for cheaper price in many other places) But the worst thing is that hygiene is not the priority and attention to the customer neither. I ordered a still water bottle and the...waitress brought a sparkling one. When I kindly asked if she could change it as it was a clear mistake the lady said the bottle was already opened and I had to pay in any case. Ok, but never again.More

I live in the area and love coming here. The food is really good and afforable and they also brew their own beer (for beer lovers). Overall, always a good time!

Visit this place regularly. It has a very Austrian atmosphere. Personal favourite is the Biergarten in summer, although the cosy indoors is also good. Own brewery produces good beer! Decorated seasonally and plain but substantial food available.

Some Biergarten have concentrated on only the brewing aspect Food is not neglected here. A large and pleasant outdoor garden however an ash tray on every table makes it MUCH less desirable. Austria really ought to get around to stopping this abuse The open sandwiches...are very good as are the wursts and brats. Service personnel are pleasant and accommodating. Prices reasonable Of course very little parking is available but public transportation is convenientMore

I have frequented this restaurant since my student years, which was really a long time ago, so I'm a regular here. It is a very nice place with a beautiful garden. Beer is excellent and there is a wide range of pub food (the only...thing I miss is the "Stelze", which I would be happy to have with a beer). Food is good and the servings are very large. They also serve home made potato crisps which are a perfect match with beer. However, sometimes there is a long waiting time for the crisps and they arrive when one has almost finished one's beer. (Perhaps it is a strategy to make customers order yet another beer?) The service is fast and friendly. The place is frequented by locals, so if you are visiting Vienna and try to avoid a tourist trap, this is a good place to come. The downsides: 1) the tables, both inside and in the garden, are cramped, so it is often that you have the feeling that you are sharing the table and the conversation with people who are sitting at the next table. 2) The other thing, even when the restaurant is almost empty, the dishes do not arrive at the same time, which points to a poor organising skills of the kitchen staff. 3) And finally, prices are quite high.More

One of the best nights in Vienna was here. The beer is great and the food delicious. The original schnitzel was very tasty and the beer soup was a nice surprinse. Very friendly stuff.

My twin brother Stephen and I jumped the tram down to the Wahring neighbourhood to visit Fischer Brau which is a cool brewpub we always look forward to visiting on any holiday we take to this most beautiful of city's. This brewpub is superb, it's...got a traditional interior, great decor and furnishings including a cool looking serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this brewpub both inside and outside in their fantastic beer garden. We were here on a Saturday afternoon, a warm and sunny day,we luckily managed to get a table outside were a very pleasant member of staff served us one of their light beers, these were served in excellent condition, we just chilled out and took in the great brewpub we were in. My beer was exceptional, the beer brewed by Fischer Brau is such a crisp, light beer bursting with taste, very easy to drink,a beer style I really enjoy, on this visit I cannot really comment on the meals as we were here only for beers but I have ate here on many occasions over the years and the meals are just superb, proper traditional Viennese cuisine, tasty and filling. We really enjoyed our beers in here and the great vibe so much so that we ended up staying for another beer each before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Fischer Brau is easy to locate ,tram number 37 to stop Glatzgasse ,walk down a street called Glatzgasse onto Billrothstraße were you will find this brewpub. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, 4pm till 1am. A great brewpub, well worth checking out if your in the area.More

Great food and outdoor sitting. Good for both locals and tourists. Preferred beer and schnitzel. Both were just awesome.

This is the real deal, non-tourist beer garden. It has tons of outdoor seating amongst shady trees and is VERY popular. The service is very good and the people are very friendly. It is a very chill place to relax and perfect as a dinner...destination that turns into a night sitting around with friends. Truly a great experience. I had the wienerschnitzel and it was excellent. The beer is quite good as well.More

I was there with a couple of friends, we discovered it while taking a walk in the area. It was the best thing ever, the food is super good and big and cheap. The bear is homemade and it's really good. They have a big...terrace and they can provide blankets if it's too cold outside. I would advise making a reservation, esepecially if you want to go for dinner. The desert is also super tasty.More

If you love beer as much as I do, this is a location for you. Different beer tastes in the oldest privat brewery of vienna are waiting for you. Food is typical Austrian kitchen and also very good.

My friend and I were tricked by the waiter (with tattoos on his arms and glasses). I paid with a contactless card and he entered a higher amount than that on the receipt without me noticing and just held my card against the device. And...he charged my friend a different amount in cash as well. Awful experience regardless of great food and drinks. Make sure to double check your payment!More

second time here while working in Vienna for Japan TV company it's very close to our hotel. Food is outstanding, the service is first rate & the prices are priced to please the wallet.. Warm & cozy & what's really nice is that you can...hang your coats up behind at the wall tables on a plethora of pegs around the walls. The ribs & chicken basket is stunning (my wife had that...) I had the stuffed cordon bleu & it was simply yum yum. Our waitress (fonja or sonya? She is left handed like me..Sorry about the name) was happy & polite, can't ask for more .. I have to knock a point off as after we had sat down I noticed that there were dogs in the food area & although I'm a dog lover & they were well behaved in leads I don't advocate them in resturants.. Would I use again 100% yes.More

We visited this restaurant on our first night in Vienna. It was walking distance from our flat and the reviews were promising. We didn't expect it to be so packed. We got the last free table and were a bit cramped but it was definitely...worth it. We ordered the goulash, cheese dumplings, spaetzle and a burger. Everyone loved their meals and nobody was hungry. The portions were huge. For 6 of us to eat including two glasses of wine, the bill was €78. I would recommend booking a table in advance to avoid disappointment.More
