The restaurant was very quiet in November at lunch time. So we got to enjoy the scenery, very well prepared delicious food and superb service. It was really nice experience, well worth the price!

The Welcome Friendly and professional. We were quickly seated in the nearly empty restaurant The Ambiance As all have said, great views of Tampere, weather permitting. The restaurant was quiet when we went so not much of a buzz. Functional, bright decor. Jazz background music...not to our taste. The Service We were served by several waitresses, not sure if this is because the seating area revolves around the kitchen so saves them chasing after their diners’ table. Friendly, knowledgeable and in both Finnish and English for my benefit. The Food. The chef’s complimentary appetiser dish of cold pea purée with celery chunks. The starter of puréed aubergine was drowned in pesto. The whitefish main course was nicely cooked but ruined with over-salting to the extent that we had to drink water between mouthfuls to wash it away. We told the waitress who said she would “let the chef know”. We shared the cheese plate for desert which was a small collection of average cheese with what can best be described as a square of soggy toast. The Sancerre wine was lovely and the best part of the meal by far. Value for Money It wasn’t. Sure, the view is spectacular but you can see it from the floor below without spending an absolute fortune. We racked up a bill of €178 for a substandard, disappointing dinner. Value is subjective but we have paid more elsewhere without feeling it was grossly overpriced. Summary The chef needs to trust the quality of the ingredients and his cooking skills without over seasoning the food. We wouldn’t return and we wouldn’t recommend it unless you really like pesto and salt.More
We had a birthday dinner at Näsinneula, 5 menus for 5 persons. The food was average, and the views were huge, of course. But the surprise came with the bill. There was one whole bottle of wine charged, 84€, though we ordeded only 2 glasses,...which were charged also, of course. After mentioning about this, there were apologies - and then the same bill made again. Only at the third time it was corrected. Had to ask if this was done by purpose?More
Great menu Finlandia with selected wine by the sommelier. All the dishes were so tasty and the view from the restaurant was incredible. It took 360 turn in every 45 minutes and the sunset was really beautiful!
Nice views, good food. Trying 9 course tasting menu. Small portions but good quality and excellent taste. And - after 9 different plates, no hunger anymore
Näsinneula restaurant is a classic in Tampere. Menu was very good (especially the reindeer) and the view is of course stunning. Service excellent.
when the restaurants were opened we decided to have lunch here. We both selected ‘Finlandia’ menu and it was excellent. Service was friendly and it was nice to have two hours for lunch without anybody pushing you.
Normally I try to avoid lunches but this time we took a risk. Short visit in Tampere and we decided to go to Näsinneula. Lunch menu looked interesting and lets do it. Experience was extremely nice this time all portions were super tasty. If You...want something tasty and enjoy. Check this.More
Food was quite average, although the service and atmosphere at the restaurant is amazing. The menu isn’t expensive but still overpriced if you look at the quality what you have on your plate. You would expect in place like this they would put a bigger...effort on their food.More
Perfect lunch with a view The first impression was that a lunch with a starter, main course and desert is not enough in a fine dining restaurant, but this is not the case here The lunch was delicious and each course was also put nicely...together Very professional service, even from the new and young waiters 👍 I recommend itMore
The food is lovely, the wine package is amazing 👍🏽 It is worth every euro 😊 great job from the chefs and waiting staff !!
We visited Särkänniemi amusement park, and due to heavy rain, we accidentally ended to restaurant Näsinneula. We picked 3 course daily menu, which had cost of 38€. Restaurant suprised us positively. Views are of course spectacular, but food, service and atmosphere were excellent. Daily menu...offered exceptional price-/quality-ratio. Dinner took abt. 2 hours. I highly recommend restaurant Näsinneula if you value high quality fine dining food and you are not in hurry.More
Our group headed towards the highest building in Tampere; the restaurant is easy to find (in evening times entrance from backdoor). I was eager to find out what was the quality of the menu, in a place like this. I ordered the five course menu...- Finlandia and I have to say the kitchens greeting (being same time the 1st course?) was a disappointment: pepper salsa and hummus looked and tasted like they were squeezed straight from a tube. Nevertheless I was delighted that wine menu was available and the wines were good! Best dish was the main course: starring reindeer (in the picture). Service was not bad but the staff seemed a little too busy. Would recommend the place for tourists.More
Näsinneula is the ideal place to see whole Tampere area at one sight. Food has prepared finely and the service is friendly. However a place is a bit expencive.
Excellent food, beautiful portions, friendly stuff. Peaceful restaurant, amazing view over the whole city.
