Good food, really nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Food was quite traditional with a slightly modern twist. Everything looked nice and tasted good. Fine dining restaurant and I can easily recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant has been one of the corner stones of Tampere's restaurants. A classic, if you will. Not this time. A group of people wanting to enjoy a dinner. The waiter was nice and friendly, but had too many people to serve by herself. Also...was not able to "read the room", so sometimes things felt owkward. Unfortunately the food disappointed also. This was a real surprise. The fowl as a starter was great, otherwise felt like in a generic hotel reaturant. I really do hope this was a one time glitch.More

The place is really nice. Authentic red bricks. Starter, the snails, were a bit tasteless, so more garlic and parmesan. Steak was very tasty and done as expected.

We had a dinner with friends at Tiiliholvi after a theatre show. The restaurant is nicely located in the centre of the city so it is very convenient after any other urban activity. The table reservation was made via table online and even though we...had to make small changes to that, everything was ready when we arrived. Service was very friendly and after a long discussion we ended selecting the "surprise menu, 4 courses" for everybody. A small minus to the restaurant that you need to have everybody in the table eating the same menu - it is not possible to have e.g. one person eating something else. However, this menu was a good choice and also food for your eyes. The menu consists of two starters (we had cauliflower soup and salmon), a main course (dove's chest) and dessert. In case you are in a hurry, don't select this as it took 3,5 hours for us to complete this menu - so this is really a choice if you love slow food! Service was very friendly and nice. And we got good hints from the waiter where to go as we had a couple of hours time before leaving the city.More

Very classic restaurant in Tampere. So if you want to have a fine dining experience in the exceptional venue this is something to be considered. Although it is a classic place they do follow time and you can see a modern twist in the dishes...as well.More

Located in really nice surrounding, place looks like a huge winecellar. Atmosphere and the service were really great. Portions were quite small but looked quite nice. Prices were well over the bar and the main thing, the flavoure, it was missing. This oldschool restaurant needs...a real update, and fast!More
