This is not in the most touristy part of town, but certainly is worth going out of the way a bit. The food is outstanding. We had the best appetizers: Tzatziki and also a small pan with cooked feta cheese with peppers and tomatoes. I...More

Affordable, nice staff. We visited in september at the weekend. We waited like 45 minutes for a table, but it was kinda worth it. I recommend this one. Food was good.

We found this on our last day in Athens. Great food and service. The restaurant is tucked away and if you didn’t know it was there you would miss it. Family cooking at it’s best. Very fair price for great food.

We had a lovely dinner, great and generous dishes, super service and beautiful tastes. Worth the waiting line if you forget to reserve a place.

a nice place to visit in athens. The food was reasonably tasty. Ordered two dishes: grilled squid and grilled vegetables. the latter came out delicious while the squid a little bland. Free bread and dessert which were both good.

We stumbled across Atitamos on the 1st day of our holiday - 2 weeks and a couple of islands later it was still our favourite meal. Highlights were the zucchini fritters, feta with honey and sesame and the BEST tzatziki I have ever tasted.

Exarchia
Exarchia is in many ways Athens’ best-kept secret,
discovered by relatively few international visitors.
Located behind the main University and Polytechnic
buildings, it is unsurprisingly home to many students,
intellectuals and politicos. This is reflected in the
area’s vibrant street art and graffiti, which seems to
cover almost every inch of wall space. Some of the
best Athenian tavernas are located here, as well as

Not sure if they accept reservations. This is a Friday night so it will probably be crowded, especially at 9pm. Try calling them and good luck !
