A return visit ( first time June 2017 ) produced another excellent lunch. Great Food, friendly service, most reasonable prices.

we were recommended this restaurant by our New Athens Tour Guide, Walter. We were a little hesitant because of the very touristy area but went for it and we were so glad that we did. From the minute that we walked in we could have...not asked for a warmer welcome or more friendly service throughout the evening. We had the house special slow cooked lamb which was unforgettable. A great spot to watch the world go by and enjoy some real Greek hospitality!More

There's a lot of restaurants along this road, but we came here based on previous reviews and we're not disappointed. The menu wasn't as extensive as others but the quality was very good and the service was very good. We had moussaka and calamari.

Amazing place, food was some of the best we’ve had and chefs and waiters were super friendly and service was great. Recommend the mixed Greek platter - gives you a chance to have a bit of everything and everything on there was delicious. Also super...reasonable - around 30 euros for two and we barely even scratched the surface it was so big. Definitely recommend if you’re around the Acropolis.More

Ate here tonight after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor. We were not disappointed! The waiters were all very friendly and the food absolutely delicious. We shared the Greek Platter for 2 and it was enormous. Tzatsiki and warm pitta bread to start, followed by pastitsio,...moussaka, lamb with potatoes, feta cooked with peppers, tomatoes ( my favourite,) chicken and gemista ( stuffed tomato and stuffed pepper.) Probably enough food for 3 or 4 people. After we had eaten we were given another carafe of red wine and a piece of delicious chocolate cake on the house. Wow! We can thoroughly recommend this restaurant. Everything was delicious.More

Named after the well-preserved Thission (ancient

pedestrianized Apostolou Pavlou Street runs between
the Acropolis and forested Filopappou Hill, well worth
climbing for more great panoramas, until it merges
with Dionysiou Areopagitou Street. This leads to the

I don't remember if it was on the menu. Just lie the others, my friend and I often got free desserts. We ate at Liondi about 6 times while we were in Athens.

We were just there in February and at the very least, Stavros was still there chatting with all his guests, so I think you won't be disappointed!
